“I stayed here for 1 night as it was close to a conference I needed to attend. Nice enough hotel from the outside, the rooms were quite dated and quite small. Quite noisy, you could hear the people in the room next door. The hotel room door lock kept getting stuck, which was a fire hazard, I couldnt lock the deadlock at night, the staff came and fixed this immediately, but still not good these things should be checked. “We had some really nice days at Clivedon House. If anything, we didn't really fancy Astor Grill and would have welcomed a larger choice of eating places. A place to buy some small stuff like chocolate bars, soft drinks and beer/wine would also have been nice. Apart from these details we were very happy with our stay. The walks that the surroundings are offering are really very nice with a lot of history to it.”

“Mycket bra bas för att utforska denna del av England från Oxford i norr till Stonehenge i söder. Servicenivån var fantastisk. Hela personalen var väldigt mån om att vi (familj, 2 vuxna och 2 barn) skulle få en så trivsam vistelse som möjligt.”

“Beautiful property. A bit of a rabbit warren but delightful to see the original features and feel the age of the building. Comfortable room and excellent bathroom facilities. Breakfast had most of what you would expect, I would like more fresh salad available. We especially enjoyed the walking route provided by the hotel, really lovely to get out and about in the grounds. ”

“Trevligt ställe med mycket utrymme inne i lokalerna och i den härliga parken, en egen liten oas mitt i byn. Liten säng för 2 personer och trångt rum att ta sig förbi sängen till badrummet. Duschen svämmar lätt över på golvet, känns fuktigt. I det stora hela ett trevligt boende med fin frukost med flera alternativ, fin och stor matsal, trevlig personal. Jag valde att bo här för andra gången. Lugnt och skönt men kan vara mycket folk ibland. Kommer gärna tillbaka.”

“it wasnt the greatest hotel experience. Room was comfortable, large size, comfortable bed. Temperature was quite cold in the room, and there were areas in the room that were not cleaned properly. The biggest disappointment for me was the food, I had dinner there the first time which was very average, and breakfast next morning was minimal and basic, not a hotel breakfast at all. i won't be back.”

“The building is beautiful, filled with history. I booked a superior for the bath in the room. I was given a pleasant room in what I think is the original medieval part of the building but the bath was through a cool 'corridor' in the room. However, I spoke to the very assistive staff and they suggested a different room which I was absolutely delighted with! “We have stayed at the Crowne Plaza on numerous occasions after the first time when we attended a near by wedding, we have tried alternative hotels but nothing comes close. We use all the facilities and everything is perfect the rooms are spacious modern and are always clean and we will return as soon as possible. ”
