Good stay but security very strict couldnt even have a drink pool side not even a glass bottle it was plastic cup

Beautiful backdrop for a place in need of cleaning/update
There was zero communication after booking and we arrived after dark to the guard shack with no instruction. The VRBO customer service team was patient and kind and stayed on the phone while we navigated the check in process to make sure we could gain access to the gated property. Security staff at Venture Out was also amazing. We arrived at a dark location and were instructed to “walk in” to check for an unlocked door….. walking into a home that is dark, to access if it’s the correct location to me is mind blowing in todays times…. What if we were wrong and walked into someone else’s home??? Just good for thought. The property management NEVER answered despite it being only 6pm. The next we were lying on the coach when In noticed black bugs pouring from the couch…. Called again with no answer…. Received an email saying they missed us and would come back tomorrow. We stayed at the rental the whole day and they no showed…. The community is beautiful, the house is in need of a deep clean and update as the televisions do not work in the bedroom or main room and the living room furniture has way beyond seen better days….we won’t even try to talk about the bugs….

Dawn, So sorry about your experience. There is a Welcome Letter that goes out to every reservation explaining the check in process and our after hours emg phone number is on that paperwork, on the fridge in the unit and the guards have a handout with that info. The people in the area are super nice and sweet. It was perfect for what we were doing in the keys. Would come back.

Great place to stay in the lower Keys
Excellent location and exactly as described. Centrally located in the development close to the pool, community store, and boat ramp. Limited trailer storage onsite in a first come first served basis, but the staff was helpful in finding a location nearby. The house was moderately well kept, and the AC broke during our first day there. The management staff was super helpful and very quick to react coming out on a Sunday evening to deliver additional AC units. Overall great place to stay. I'd definitely book again.

Cute, Quiet Getaway
Very clean property & all Venture Out employees we encountered were friendly & accommodating. Loved having our boat directly behind the unit in the canal which made it so easy each day to start our snorkeling and fishing adventures for each day. Would definitely consider staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay! Typical vacation rental. AC had a hard time keeping it cool but it was a tolerable temperature still.

Venture out
A well maintained vacation home in a nice community. Be aware of a community fee when coming in. Activities and a great pool. Older clients living and enjoying the sun life. I would book again.

Nice complex
This was a good spot close to the pool. It had kayaks which was fun! One of the bikes had a flat tire so that was disappointing. There is no back or front deck like other units and only one bathroom which other units have 2 bathrooms.

Great location
Nice house in a nice HOA property. It’s a great location 30 min from Key West and Marathon. There are a lot of rules to follow. You have to initial the booking agreement 28 times. Otherwise I was very happy with the house and it’s furnishings. We would certainly stay again.
