Hotell med pool i Sunderland

“We had a lovely one night stay. We were warmly greeted and our room was spacious, up quite a few stairs so beware if you have heavy cases. We enjoyed a swim in the pool and used the hot tub. A well equipped gym was also available. The pool was very clean and a pleasant temperature. These facilities were all included in the room price but there is a limited timetable when you can use the pool due to lesson and member sessions. We ate dinner at the hotel which was very tasty and well presented....

“Ett stiligt, mysigt hotell med gamla anor. Låg väldigt centralt. Vi hade lite svårt att hitta dit trots googlemaps. Hade behövts några skyltar i de smala gatorna.Mycket trevlig personal, fantastisk frukostbuffé och mysiga, gammeldags rum.”

“Washington Central is by far the best hotel to stay in Workington. Point. However, this has to do more with the fact that the city itself does not provide really comfy and luxurious accommodation, than Washington Central being awesome. A frequent business traveler, I can definitely say that the hotel's pricing is a bit too high for its service scopes. But hey, if the other hotels in town are worthless, then they can enjoy their monopoly status, right? Positives: very good service, helpful...

“Lovely hotel, currently undergoing refurbishment. But no impact on experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of nice touches in the room. I have already recommended it to several people and I will certainly return. We were a family of 5 and the kids also remarked on how impressive it was, they enjoyed playing tennis and having a swim after dinner. Food was wonderful with an excellent choice, we enjoyed both our dinner and breakfast. *Highly recommend *”
