âHai and Chilly were fabulous hosts, communicative and always happy to assist in any way. As it was winter we opted to stay in the village. The family sized room with 2 king beds and bathroom plus your own seating and hammock out the front situated in lovely gardens was a great place to recover after doing the Ha Giang Loop. âWe were upgraded to the amazing ownerâs suite, the staff paid attention to every single detail during our stay and we had so much fun during the several activities planned! Food was great too.

âGreat service and nice personal! Just every evening/morning we have same activity which is weird because it's always new people boarding on the boat. And all cruises at Haloonbay has kind of same schedule. So you don't get a better choice than this. At least we got a calm location for kayaking without other tourists around. Also the cave visit is kind of crazy. It's insanely crowded inside. â

âThe hotel manager was super helpful. I recommend talking to the front desk about limo and private car services to and from nearby services. Also, I recommended checking with them for the boat tours and asking about more affordable options if you are not interested in the more expensive packages.â
âEverything was professionally done from the welcome center/waiting area, boat that takes you to yacht, luggages waiting at your room. Boat is impressive one year new. âComfortable hotel near Cat Ba town, with good views of the bay, and out of sight of the building work in town. We had a one night stay before a boat trip on Lan Ha and Halong Bays. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, effective Aircon, and comfortable bed, although slightly limited choice of nearby restaurants.â

âLovely boutique hotel. One of our favorite so far. Good noodle soupâsaw some locals eat there as well. Lovely surrounding areaâ walk along the ocean. You need to drive or take a taxi to the port. â
