a) Like different lamps at each side of the bed.
b) The headboard was about a foot from the beds matress.

“Hotel was ok, but a little run down. Check in staff were friendly. Rooms were clean, but bathroom tub didn’t drain properly.
Breakfast was poor. Only waffle maker, cereal, breads, and biscuits with white gravy. The syrup for the waffles wasn’t refilled, so waffles weren’t even worth it.
Fine if you’re just looking for a clean and comfortable place to sleep, but don’t expect much more.”

“It was 3:15 check in was 3. They called me but I was driving so I waited until I got to a safe place to call them back. Check in is 3pm-2am. I was literally just about a mile away and they gave away my room. No explanation just gave it away it was the handicap room. How was I getting another handicap room for a week with 15 minutes notice. Every hotel was 3x-5x the price. I’m disabled. I tried every single hotel, nothing. I drove 27 hours. ( snoozed a bit at rest stops). I was seriously stuck....

“The historic aspects of the hotel are all present. I also really loved the location - right in the middle of everything. I had a standard room with two beds. The bathroom was a bit grungy. We had a bathtub but no plug to actually use it. The carpet in the room was pretty nasty - I would definitely not walk around barefoot.
