Yeah Buoy ~ Your West End Pet-Friendly Beach Escape.

Welcome to our family-friendly vacation home in Sunset Beach! This charming west end beauty is the perfect getaway for multiple families or couples. Every bedroom is beautifully decorated with a custom beach theme, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Our spacious house provides ample room for kids to be kids and adults to relax. The great room allows everyone to come together whenever they please, while still offering privacy when desired. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare gourmet meals or quick snacks, and there's a pantry to store all your food supplies.

Spread across three levels, our home features 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, offering over 2000 square feet of living area. On the main level, you'll find the primary bedroom with a comfortable king-sized bed, a ceiling fan, and access to the front screened-in porch. The full bathroom in the hall features a shower and bathtub.

The third floor boasts three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 offers a king bed, ceiling fan, and a cozy sitting area. Bedroom 2 features a queen bed, ceiling fan, and access to a private balcony. Bedroom 3 is perfect for the kids, with two twin beds and a ceiling fan. There's also a full bathroom with a shower, bathtub, and sink on this floor.

The bottom level has a spacious area for kids and teens, which was renovated in 2022 to create a large room with a queen bed that can serve as a 5th bedroom. Additionally, this level includes a large bathroom and a brand new full-size washer and dryer. For some added fun, open the garage door and enjoy a game of ping pong or air hockey!

Three of the bedrooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs and cable TV, and the entire house offers high-speed WiFi internet access. In 2022, the garage was opened up in the back, and an outdoor shower was added for your convenience.

The open concept great room, dining area, and kitchen feature vaulted 18-foot ceilings, plenty of windows, and ceiling fans to provide ample light and cool comfort. There's also a screened-in porch with a ceiling fan and a mini fridge for your enjoyment.

Our vacation home is just a short walk away from the beach access at the end of the street. You can easily hit the beach, return for lunch, and head back with ease. The lower level bathroom provides convenient restroom access.

We stayed at Yeah Buoy as home-base for our son's wedding week! Pam was fantastic in ensuring we had easy access to the home. We did lots of cooking and found the kitchen to be well-stocked. We all LOVED the beds - so comfortable. The beach decor puts you in the best mood in every room. We spent a few evenings in the garage with some pretty intense ping pong tournaments. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our fur babies. We made the short walk to the beach several times using the wagon and chairs provided. I would highly recommend this rental for large families to gather and enjoy a great holiday. Thanks again Pam!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yeah Buoy! The house was very clean, cozy, and well-organized. The kitchen had everything we needed to put together meals and the living area had enough seating for all 6 of us to enjoy visiting together. The beds were comfortable and the layout allowed us to have some space to nap or read. There were lots of bikes and beach chairs provided, and a nice assortment of snacks and toiletries in case we needed them. Our son's pup enjoyed his time there as well! Communication with Pam was easy and timely - we felt so welcome! We would definitely rent this house again in the future!

Great house on island’s west end!

Great house with all amenities, including bicycles, beach chairs and more. Everything you need, this house has it. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and the best part might be the screened in porch on the front of the house with an amazing porch swing for afternoon naps! We stayed here with our 3 adult children, my sister and her spouse, and our 2 grandsons. There was enough space for everyone and we all loved the house. We will definitely revisit!

10/10 would recommend Yeah Bouy!

Yeah Bouy was the perfect beach stay for my family! We had 6 adults, an infant, and a dog and there was still an extra bedroom plus plenty of space in the living areas for us all to hangout without feeling crammed. I loved how accommodating they were for dogs. They had two dog beds, a bunch of toys, and food bowls. We also barely had to bring anything from home to take to the beach. They had 7 beach chairs, a beach wagon, and lots of beach toys. They had 8 bikes so our whole family could ride bikes together if we wanted to! We also really enjoyed the ping pong table, grill, outside shower, and porch swing! This house had everything you could ask for and the host, Pam was super accommodating and always answered my messages within minutes! We will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a family friendly stay!

Great Thanksgiving

We had a great week at Sunset Beach over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house had everything we needed and the weather was cooperative. We spent time on the front porch most nights. There was plenty of space for 5 kids and 4 adults. The ping pong table in the garage was a big hit! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks very much Pam!

Wonderful week

We had a great week at Yeah Bouy! Pam was incredibly responsive and the house was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The screen porch gets stuffy on summer nights so we loved the back porch. Easy walk to the beach. Great house!

Lovely family beach vacation

We have visited Sunset Beach for the past 12 years. Yeah Buoy is by far the most beautiful, well equipped vacation home we have ever stayed in. The well equipped kitchen is amazing! There’s nothing the owner, Pam, did not think of. It’s beautifully decorated. There were 10 of us and plenty of space for us all. The front screened in porch was my favorite apart of the house. We are already looking forward to next year’s stay!

Best stay I’ve had!

This was an amazing place to stay with family and friends! Pam thought of everything possible to include in the house. There was so accommodations available to house guest. This house was so spacious and comfortable for 10. We really enjoyed the couch in the living room. So comfortable! This house is perfect and we would definitely stay here again. The basement was a great place for kids to hangout, it included a massive tv and gaming console which was incredible for the kids, especially if you have teens! Overall, this house was one of the best my family and I have stayed in a while. Thank you Pam!

Perfect beach getaway!

We enjoyed our stay and will be back! The house was super clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We loved the layout and felt like we all had our own privacy. The porch was so relaxing to sit on during the day and night! The location was ideal for walking to the beach and the house has plenty of beach toys, chairs, etc if you need them. We can't complain about a thing and would highly recommend!

Perfect beach house for our family

Attractive beach theme decor, lots of games, books, bikes, TV's with great channel selection. Our children, ages 5 to 11, easily walked to the beach, making use of toys available at the house. Some adults walked to Kindred Spirit from the house. All of us walked to ice cream store, shops, and pier. Yeah Buoy is surrounded by similar multi level houses in well kept area. You will need time at end of visit to put out trash, strip beds, wash and put away dishes, empty refrigerator, clean and return toys to storage area. Large open seating area on main level, 3rd level has king bedroom, twin beds, queen bed, and one full bath. Master bedroom on main level has king bed, dresser, chairs, and access to screened porch. Entry level has large den/bedroom with TV and games, and half bath. Hairdryers, tissues, soap, plush towels are provided. Laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs are provided. Everything we needed for a nice family beach vacation!

Perfect beach

The house was extremely clean, nice linens, well stocked kitchen. It was a short walk to the most wonderful beach, especially for children. We loved the neighborhood. Pam was a wonderful host, and easy to contact when needed. I would certainly try to stay here again.

Perfect for dog family

Lovely house, well equipped for dogs too. Honestly our favorite part was that outside shower - amazing! Beds were comfy, lots of comfortable sitting places. Lots of beach chairs for us to use which was appreciated :) Working with owners was easy and they were very accomodating!

Family Beach Week

9 of us stayed comfortably in this awesome house. We enjoyed our time together and made wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend this house and will not hesitate to stay here in the future.

Oh Bouy!

What a wonderful place for our family vacation! The house set up was perfect. The screened in porch was a favorite spot for relaxing and hanging out. Our teenage and 4 year old granddaughter, and adult daughters had a wonderful time with the outdoor games. The outdoor shower was perfect after a day at the beach to leave the sand outdoors. Our host was readily available for any questions and made checking in and out a breeze. The grands love Italian ice and the close proximity to the Sunset shop made for getting a treat every day (sometimes twice daily). A great time was had by all!

Yeah Buoy is a beautiful home---- well equipped and pristine! The porch was, for us, the highlight---- comfortable and perfect for lounging with a good book and your favorite beverage! We've been coming to Sunset since the '80's and I would have to say this home is the top of our list now!

Simply amazing

I don't normally post reviews but I had to with this one. This was the most well thought out, and most attention paid to detail in a rental home we have ever seen. The house was very clean, well laid out for my husband and I, our 5 kids, and my mother and sister in-law. We all had tons of space to spread out and big open spaces to spend time together. The front porch was amazing and we could've sat on the swing all day. Upon arrival we were surprised at all the little details the Johnson family put into their house. I could go on and on. The place was just amazing and we didn't have to drag our own beach toys down because everything was already there. The walk to the beach took less than 5 minutes even with 5 kids under 10 in tow. If you are looking for a rental to suit your whole family this is it!
