“The place is great! Pretty close to a station with mutiple lines, the surrounding area isnt namba station but it has the necessities within reach (convenience store, supermarket, couple of dinner spots). (Presumably all rooms but i havent seen the others) my room has adjustable ac and lighting, pretty roomy too. The only real issue I really had was that the wifi stopped working a few days in, but that'll probably be fixed eventually. Oh, and the thinnes s of the mattress takes a little getting...
“The incredibly helpful staff helped us upgrade to a room with a view of the castle aswell as extend our stay one more night. The room was clean, comfortable and very large as far as japanese standards go, and the view was spectacular.
The restaurant staff left a lot to be desired though, they were rude and rushed us as if the simply didn't want us there, and it ruined the mood of our anniversary a bit. The food was nice, but not nice enough to outweigh the staffs behaviour. ”

"Central location, very nice onsen with multiple pools (one cold) and a sauna. Rooftop pool is nice but entrance is booked in advance. The view is worth it though. Top restaurant is nice: food is good but the interior could be improved. It’s ok though. Staff is very friendly."
"We had a very unpleasant experience with our current stay. The side facing the river has train tracks parallel to the hotel and there is a train running every minute, super annoying when you want to rest or sleep since the windows are not offering adequate sound proofing. We tried to switch the room to a more quiet one, this was only possible if we pay the upgrade fee to stay on the other side. So not really customer friendly. Especially because a member of the staff said he can upgrade us for free but then said since we booked with Expedia we need to pay. If I wanted the view of the castle I would have booked it, I just wanted a quiet room. No solution what so ever except pulling more money from your customers. Embarrassing Apart from this the hotel is modern and fresh."
