“The AC unit close to the bed makes a lot of noise. Otherwise a fine hotel. No gym, simple but fully adequate breakfast. Small pool, but right next door to Salty Pirate and within walking distance of the beach. Nice neighborhood!”

“I liked the closeness to restaurants and the Bogue Inlet Pier. This was the main reason for the stay was for fishing. Only negative was the 1 hour delay to get in my room for check-in. The stated time was 3pm and I didn't get in until a little after 4pm.”

“Just got back yesterday from our stay at the Clarion Hotel, the hotel lobby is very beautiful, the marble floors are state-of-the-art, it appears that a lot of thought was put into the design of the lobby.The hotel staff was very friendly. When pulling up to the hotel, it was aesthetically very pleasing. The breakfast was great, it would have been nice to have an alternative meat since we don’t eat pork, but otherwise than that, it was wonderful plenty of choices of things to eat, from cereals,...

“The rooms had very little lighting, floors had so many gouges you couldn’t go without shoes because it would cut your foot, sink is so large there is no space on the bathroom vanity, blow dryer won’t even dry your hair, iron was broken into pieces, iron board was torn into pieces, the smell of mildew was bad.”

“This hotel was very clean and a perfect location- right on the beach. They had bicycles and beach chairs that we were able to check out for the day at no charge. The only cons were the lady that checked us in was a little on the rude side at first but she got friendlier as time went by. The remote to the tv did not work but we did not spend too much time in the room so that was not a big deal but overall it was a fantastic place and I would stay there again.”
