“A great remote property with an interesting history (Check out the "Burning Bears Fall From the Sky" book in the bookcase upstairs). A wonderful view out over the enter southern valley and very quiet. The road to the property is a long, curvy mostly single lane one. And Google maps will tell you that you've arrived and to turn left off the mountain before you actually reach the driveway. So be careful and keep going just a little bit further. We hiked around the property (be aware of poison oak)...

“House was clean, beds comfortable, kitchen pretty well stocked with decent amount of dishes and pots and pans. House is a bit smaller than pictures look. Lots of cats hang around. We saw at least 6. They didn't bother us except the one who sleeps on the back porch gave me a scare when it unexpectedly ran in front of me. The child in our group that was allergic to cats did not react so cats haven't been in the house.”

“The start was little off for us when Google maps directions threw us off (don’t take the OLD Poker Barn road) and ATT cell reception was spotty , but fortunately connected with Bryan and got in without any more fuss. House was perfectly located in front of the river, all amenities available, very peaceful and our pets had the most fun as well. We got some great family time bonding…. Checked out local historic landmarks, old towns etc… overall great trip and wonderful place…..”

“My daughter and I loved staying at Rebecca’s place. It was sparkling clean and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. The AC was already turned down to a comfortable temperature for our arrival and cold waters were in the refrigerator. Rebecca messaged throughout our stay to check in and see if we needed anything. We loved the beautiful backyard and pool. I would definitely stay her again.”

“My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at this home! We went to Redding for business, but it felt like a vacation staying here! The pool was a little chilly (it was April, so understandable) but we still enjoyed it. Beds were great, home was spacious and comfortable, and CLEAN. Great place, would love to stay again.”

“We traveled from the Seattle area and were looking for some sunshine and fun with our grandkids! The Olive Get-Away was perfect! Even though the pool in April was a bit chilly, we still enjoyed it. They even had a few floaties for the kids along with a ping pong table. Everything was provided - a nice kitchen and plenty of towels. “Loved this property!!! Was a little scary driving down the road at night but once we found the property it was very nice and peaceful!
