“We had an amazing stay at the Secret Courtyard Hotel. A lovely neighbourhood with friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious and the hotel had a calm atmosphere. Walking distance to the reed flute cave, and easy to take a taxi to city center. I can't recommend it enough. ”

“This is a small and very nice old hotel with a five star service. It's located on the outskirts of Yangsho but close to the river and caves. Ideal for mountainbikes with 5-25km hikes, including bamborafting. Could be hard to find for a taxidriver in Guilin so book a transfer in advance. Tina and the other staff will help you out and their english is good.”

“This is one the best 5 star hotels I’ve stayed around the world, and the best shower hands down. The next one would be ihg in Osaka. The staff is amazingly friendly, room and hotel is new and clean. The hotel is attached to 3 subway lines, it’s close enough to airport with a short taxi ride, and not far from the popular places in hankou. The night view out the window with the Farris wheel was serene, very relaxing place. The breakfast had great selections and lots of local favorites. It also...

“The hotel is indeed not new but it is well maintained. The room is indeed quiet, most top floor at 7th floor. Abit of cigarette smell of course. Nevertheless, I could sleep so well as the bed is very comfortable and soundproof is very good. Highly recommended.”

“Nice hotel with good location. Even better when new metro station open just outside the entrance. Big and spacy rooms with good breakfast on the 28th floor with a marvelous view. Good for a weekend trip on the same metro line as the railway station.”
