“We love the motel vibe and that's exactly what we got! The owner of the property and the restaurant was at the front desk when we arrived, and he was super friendly and helpful. He even gave us some samples of their beef sticks, which were phenomenal, and we highly recommend you ask about!

“Cool setup in the Mercantile. The "Continental breakfast" was virtually non-existent, consisting of a Keurig coffeemaker, a handful of apples and bananas, and if you timed it right, Entemanns muffins. The restaurant was closed my entire time there. The room was odd-sized: low toilet, which was too close to the wall (the toilet roll holder pressed against my upper arm when sitting), and the sink was too tall (hitting me in the ribs).”
“Our AC was not on in our room when we got there so it was stuffy but otherwise the bed was comfortable and the shower was great! The room was clean but the bedding did have lint on it which was odd, but it was clean. I’m sure we’d stay there again. We didn’t get to use any amenities as it was late night early morning for us but it was very comfortable.”
