“Did not care for the check in lockbox---no staff to handle people checking in for the 1st time??--was unnecessarily confusing and stress producing. Also really miss a coffee machine in the room---dislike going down a hall to get a cup of coffee early in the morning---don't like meeting other people in their pajamas and don't feel like getting fully dressed to get a cup of coffee at 6 or 7 am. Asked for an 8am breakfast but it was moved to 8:30---didn't want to wait so left without it. ...

“I love this hotel so much! Has a great lounge on the roof, awesome looking rooms and love the breakfast. And has a valet if you need one. And close to other restaurants. Best hotel in Milwaukee!”

“We celebrated my wife's birthday with a high speed ferry trip from Muskegon to Milwaukee. We stayed at the Pfister. It was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We stayed on the historic side of the hotel. Rooms were beautiful, the staff most helpful, internal dining options outstanding and the amenities were top notch. Pool on the 23rd floor was a bonus. Location was perfect. Worth every penny. The experience was so nice that we stopped noticing that there were renovations going on....

“We stay there for The Rave shows all the time and it's reasonable and clean. The only negative is there is no tv channels. You have to login to a streaming app to watch anything.”

“While I was shocked that the building didn't have an elevator, its charm was readily evident. The rooms were modern and generous in size (except when the couch was folded out). The Plaza is in an interesting, eclectic neighborhood, easy walking distance to local points of interest, restaurants, and Metro Mart, a local grocery. We didn't eat in the cafe, but the line when we checked out Sunday morning was almost out the door! The stairs were a little difficult, but I'd stay here again.”

“Nice location by the lake. Nice entrance. Tired people in the reception area. Rooms and halls not renovated since the 70’s? Time to give the hotel a facelift! Lovely, serviceminded janitor though:)”
