B&B i Sydvästra Colorado

“We stayed for two nights. The first night there we had farm fresh eggs, a pear syrup and a package of pancake mix and granola in the fridge for our breakfast in the morning. That day we went and did some other activities and didn't get back until that night. When we got back, we didn't have a second breakfast waiting for us in the fridge for the next day. We left the following morning and found some place for breakfast. Everything was great except for that little piece, but it turned out fine....

“Host was very welcoming. Nice cheaper option. My husband was weary at first about staying in a room in someone’s house essentially but we were out to hike before breakfast no issues. He said he liked it there. You can watch the hummingbirds at the feeder and sit out by the patio. Every room was full but we heard no noises. Host chatted with us for a few minutes upon arrival. She also has a nice dog. She offers breakfast in the morning which would have been nice if we didn’t wanna be up so early”

“Good place to stay if you only need a good,comfortable place to sleep & take a shower. No table or chairs in the room to relax in or eat, eventhough there is a microwave. Thank you, Nancy & Joe”

“I liked the style of the house and the decorations. I loved the concept of eating breakfast at the dinner table with other guests. My only complaint was that we did not know how to get tv stations on our nice TV. The instructions on the tv were not helpful. It was the inn keeper’s day off. We were given instructions on how to contact her if there were any problems, which we decided not to do. ”

“A lodge that shows its age but room was clean, the water and cooling worked well, refrigerator and microwave worked well, and beds were super comfortable. Slept great. To the north Salida is about 11 miles. South are a couple other food locations, i.e. Dusty's Roadhouse.”

“The property is immaculately maintained, with an excellent staff and wonderful hosts (Jim and Leslie). Easy drive to Durango, hot springs, Purgatory ski slopes, etc make this one of my favorite B-N-Bs. The morning breakfast is just cherries on top!”

“The cost for this room is as stated. No frills - bathroom was not very clean - both shower and toilet didn’t look as if a scrub brush was ever used, toilet ran excessively, which is so wasteful. Hard to clean or rinse the coffee pot without possibly breaking it - single cup Keurig would work fine instead of an outdated and horribly stopped up water reservoir ”

“The breakfast is always amazing. Fresh fruit and cereals. Hot food. Delicious coffee. The dining room is comfortable and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and well equipped. I have stayed there several times a year for the past five+ years. I cant imagine staying anywhere else when Im in the Farmington area.”
