“I was overall happy with my stay at the Fairmont FKL, with one very important exception (listed under cons below). Pros: Close to the gondola, has a nice spa and decent gym. Mostly friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Okay level of cleanliness. Cons: Rooms do NOT look like they do in the hotel photos, they are dated and in need of a renovation. Rooms also have no AC which was almost unbearable during hot summer days. The worst con of them all is, however, that I was contacted after my stay because...

“Excellent service and beautiful hotel/resort. Many restaurants to choose from. Dog friendly and we loved riding the gondola! Love the market at the top of the mountain! It is a full service grocery store! I would love to stay again and highly recommend Mountain Village! ”
