We were assigned a comparable room, which was initially O.K. but the room felt damp and the artificially "freshened" room was off putting. We were assigned a third room and it was "slightly" better. “It is huge with a lot of rooms. It was pretty full the night we were there. At breakfast the food was decimated and we got there 15 minutes of opening for breakfast. The poor girl was running around trying to fill things, get more coffee etc. Most of the folks staying were laborers, they had to eat fast & get to work, they devoured everything faster than the employee could replenish it. it was not a great environment that morning.”
“Staff was very helpful and friendly.
The only issue we had was the handicap room we were given was not very handicap friendly. The bed was very tall, difficult to climb up into when you need a walker to walk and steady yourself. Doors are very heavy, mom needed help to open them. The toilet was very low and difficult for her to get up off it. She was not able to shower as the shower was in a tub, don’t know many true handicapped people who can step over the tub into the shower.”
