Bra hotell men inte fantastiskt
Hotellet har ett väldigt bra läge i Ortiga och var ganska lätt att ta sig till. Hotellet är på många sätt fräscht och trevligt, och vi upplevde servicen som bra och har inget direkt att klaga på. Däremot skulle vi absolut inte kalla det "Fantastiskt" eller ens speciellt prisvärt. Hotellet har en parkering utanför men den kostar extra. Frukosten var trevlig och god men återigen kanske inte riktigt värd vad man betalar för.

Great stay for exploring Siracusa
Great Hotel. All my ratings are based on expectations due to price. Hotels in Sicily are very expensive and had expected more based on price we paid.

Klassisk hotell med stil
Ortigia är en vacker gammal del av Siracusa. Hotellet matchar stadsdelen, klassisk stil, vackert, utmärkt service. Mycket bra frukost, men middag kan man äta på stan...

Bra läge och härligt med tillgång till båt till stranden. De enklare rummen var rätt deprimerande men så är det ju ofta. Underbar utsikt från takterassen på frukosten. Vänlig personal.

Excellent location in lovely Ortigia
Friendly staff, good breakfast buffet with even better view from the terrace. Clean rooms. Boat service to the private beach is a few pp but worth every cent. Especially as the beach was somewhat hard to find by car. Free bike rental (and tandem is always a good test for a couple). If you come car it may be good to know that they have a private parking just in front of the hotel.

Excellent location
Very happy with the hotell and the friendly service. Our room was on the bottom floor, so the view from our particular room was not good. The hotel location is great and our concern about parking (after reading other reviews that only 2 car spaces are available) was unfounded. There are a number of reserved spaces right in front of the hotel (10€/day). The view from the terrace where breakfast (and drinks/other meals) is served is wonderful!

Perfekt läge vid hamnen i sköna Syrakusa, också en charmant restaurang , med möjligheter att sitta ute , på tredje våningen. Hotellet rekommenderas starkt

It is like stepping on to the titanic. It has oldish furniture etc but it was safe, quiet and the staff were lovely. Recommend staying there Greta location.

Lovely hotel at the north western tip of Ortigia. The whole island is easily walkable and it only yook us 20 minutes ir so to walk to the archealogical park on the mainland. The staff at the hotel were all very polite, friendly and really helpful especially with our airport transfer at 4.30 am! They even packed us a fantastic breakfast to take with us. Would definitely stay with them again should we return to Sicily.

Hot, nor properly air conditioned - dated and expe
Expensive, dated and room not cooled; suites have a mezzanine, with air conditioning below. Very hot and uncomfortable stay, with 5* price. When I expressed my discomfort, greeted with a shrug of shoulders.

The service is outstanding—consistently outstanding over five visits. The hotel itself is beautiful and the location is wonderful—right on the harbor and within east walking distance to primary tourist attractions to include a World UNESCO site.

Quiet an outdated hotel. You feel like you’re on a boat with nothing to look at. Rattling air conditioner and basic bedding. Had to bring all my own luggage in and then back out. I wouldn’t book again.

Great hotel and staff. Only issue i had is that there was no iron in the room. So I had to go to dinner with clothes totally wrinkled. Called front desk and they said they have laundry service and do NOT provide irons to guests? I was in shock. Had dinner in 35 mins and no iron!! Only complaint Front desk was rude when telling me this Otherwise great hotel. Terrace on roof is spectacular, staff there beyond good! Location ideal.

The Hotel is exactly what you expect from an Italian Grand Hotel. The location is excellent, close to the city center and directly at the seafront. The rooms and interior are a bit outdated but very clean. The bar on the rooftop has a fantastic view and the service was really nice-specifically for a sundowner and the breakfast.

Wonderful. Clean cosy room over a split level so didn’t feel small like many single rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Will definitely return.

Very nice with a few flaws
Beautiful hotel with a nice rooftop where we enjoyed our breakfast. One minus: We picked the hotel because the description on hotels.com promised access to a private beach. It turned out, that arrangement was cancelled. The staff was great and arranged trips to a nearby lido but at considerably extra cost. The Wi-Fi in the room was too weak for streaming etc. Very nice experience but not flawless.
