Breakfast staff is fantastic.
Sadly, the manager does a poor job at the property.
A few things were red flags -
Stale and moldy item in the breakfast buffet that had to be pointed out.
Shower continued to leak and flood the bathroom because of faulty drain. Manager said he tried to get it fixed but could not.
Instead of offering us another room with a working bathroom, since the hotel was empty,
his solution was for us to put down towels after every shower to soak up the flooded bathroom.
Not even have housekeeping come clean it up.
We asked him to put us into another room as this situation was unsanitary and he told us he did not want to do that.
We understand that things go wrong but how you manage the situation is important.
The freshly squeezed Orange juice was delicious.
It’s such a shame because the property is in a really cute area, and is quite adorable and would have been really enjoyable if we did not have to stand in a flooded bathroom.
PS - the blue dome in the hotel pictures is the church next to the hotel and not part of the hotel.
The room was large and airy and bed was comfortable.
