In winter, embark on exhilarating cross-country skiing or snowmobiling adventures, while summer transforms these trails into picturesque hiking and mountain biking routes. Explore the renowned Tahoe Rim Trail and ascend Watson Peak, or cruise along the paved bike path to Tahoe City and beyond.
During winter, the nearby bike path becomes a serene snowshoeing and cross-country skiing haven, winding through enchanting woods for three miles. For ski enthusiasts, Palisades Tahoe and Northstar Ski Resort are within a short 20-minute drive, while Tahoe City Nordic XC Center awaits just five minutes away.
For a taste of local charm, venture into Tahoe City, a mere seven-minute drive, where you'll discover an array of amenities including grocery stores, boutique shops, lively bars, restaurants, a movie theater, and seasonal attractions like the farmer's market and live music. Or make a five-minute walk to the stop at Hwy 28 at Chinquapin Condos to head to Kings Beach. For those with a vehicle, you are just a 7-minute drive to Tahoe City where you can use the FREE park-and-ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort.
The home’s great location places you within quick access to the main highway so you can enjoy the many beautiful surrounding areas within a 20-minute drive or less! In the winter hit the ski slopes at Northstar Ski Resort or Palisades Tahoe Ski Resorts, both a 20-minute drive away, or make the less than 5 minutes drive to the Tahoe City Nordic Center where you can XC ski or snowshoe.
