Kör upp till denna tri-story hem med en rymlig 3 bil uppfart och stort 2-bil garage med ett tillgÀngligt pingisbord för lite roligt och spel! Steg upp yttre trappan, eller genom garaget in i entrén och uppför trappan till huvudnivÄn av hemmet.
HuvudnivÄn öppnar upp till ett mysigt vardagsrum med en bra vedeldad spis, platt-TV med kabel och DVD, och piano för de musikerna! Great stay at this classic Tahoe house! Clean, kitchen was well equipped, and hot tub under the stars was lovely. Enjoyed the Bavarian touches too.

Quiet Get Away on Tahoe

The house was just as described. Comfortable and clean. Fans for every room which is a must on hotter days. Appreciate that it was dog friendly. Beds were firm but comfortable. Near wonderful hiking trails.

Amazing experience!

Communication was excellent! Really appreciate the agency and owner’s response time for all the questions we had. Property was AMAZING! Hot tub right next to the patio door, great kitchen stocked with actual tools needed to cook, and cozy & comfy rooms. Will absolutely stay again if available!

Winter Wonderland!

We loved our long weekend in you beautiful home! We had fresh snow for the kids to ski at Palisades, and for my husband (and dog) to snowshoe in Olympic Valley. The house and especially beds, were very comfortable, and we loved our evenings by the fire. We would love to come back again someday; maybe check out the neighborhood in the summer too. Thanks for sharing your mountain home!

Great house and great location

We love North Shore and this was a great house in a great location! The description of the house was spot on! Very clean and it came with everything we needed. They even had an expresso machine! The hot tub was awesome after a day on the slopes and the kitchen and dining area fit our family and friends. The twin bed room was great for the kids and the rest of the rooms had comfortable beds. We would definitely rent here again. Loved how close it was to Tahoe City and to Alpine Meadows!

One great spot!

Lovely cozy bullet proof home on a cul de sac right off the woods and Tahoe Rim and Rawhide trails. The location was superb. The cleaning service did a great job but the couch cushion covers and throw pillows could really use a deep clean. Lots of stairs. Long flight from street/garage level to main living level. Otherwise totally dog and kid friendly. Lots of games for family time. We would stay there again. Kitchen very well equipped. Easy walk to coffee shop or Sunnyside or into the woods.

Wonderful time in Tahoe City!

Our group had a great time at the Edelweiss cabin! The house was in a great neighborhood, and was very clean upon our arrival. Some members of our group participated in the Spartan Race at Squaw Valley. The house was convenient and close to the venue (10 minutes). The house offered great amenities, and a great time was had by all! Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a spot in Tahoe City!

Beautiful place to relax!

We had a great time at the cabin. The listing and pictures were accurate. The cabin was well equipped. It is near trails and even we walked to Tahoe city from there. We will definitely love to rent it again!

Hard beds....

The mattresses were really hard. We like firm mattresses but these were super uncomfortable. All except one mattress were too hard. We all agreed and checked them all. Our daughter and her husband slept in the double bed because it was the most comfortable mattress. The bear wire around windows and on the entry mat was a little unsettling. The toilets were really low to the floor. The location was good. The place was clean and the kitchen was nice and well equipped. The pine interior made it feel like old Tahoe.

Cozy home with a great layout for a family gathering

We really enjoyed this home. The layout is great for the family to be together when prepping meals, playing games, etc. Lovely kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. It was well cleaned when we arrived. The adults very much enjoyed the hot tub, and the kids had an enormous collection of wonderful books and toys there to play with. It is a great place for families with small children. There is a terrific electric piano in the family room for those who play. The only thing to note is that while the bath towels provided were very nice, there were not enough of them provided for each person to have one. Between that and the fact that no extra beach-type towels are provided for guests to use for the hot tub, we kept the washing machine very busy! This was probably an oversight by the cleaning service/rental agency, but when we first called the rental agency to ask about this and a few other things, they were not terribly helpful. They did send someone over later to unlock a couple more towels, but the professionalism of the rental agency in general didn’t blow us away. There is a nice connecting path to a trail head just two houses down that we enjoyed, and the overlook up the street is an amazing spot to picnic and take pictures - such a beautiful view!! The little ones enjoyed toasting s’mores on the propane fire pit in the back, as well as utilizing the neat table sports in the garage. The homeowners also provide wood and fire starters for the fire insert in the family room, which was so fun. All this to say, we HIGHLY recommend this sweet little gem of a house! The owners obviously take great pride in their comfortable, beautiful home, and are very interested in providing a pleasureable space for families — it was a great vacation! Thank you!

The house is awesome, location is awesome, everything works, highly recommended!

The house is in a beautiful neighborhood with a short walk up the hill to the most amazing view of Lake Tahoe. The house has 4 comfortable bedrooms, excellent kitchen, comfortable family room with very nice fireplace. Great Samsung TV, high speed internet, the hot tub works great. A large garage with remote control provided. Everything in the house works and we had a great stay. I highly recommend this property to anyone coming to Tahoe.

Clean, comfy and had toys and books for kids. Sweet! It was winter weather, so we didn't get to enjoy things like the hot tub and ping pong table in the garage (rats!). We thought it was funny that the little bear statue on the front porch held a sign saying "welcome" right next to the electric bear-fence turn on/off button.

Great Tahoe House!

We went up to celebrate my mom's the birthday and this house was a perfect place to stay for the weekend. It was really close to Tahoe City and to lake access. The house was very well stocked. My 3 year old daughter brought all of her princess dolls to play with an was so excited to see the toy castle in the upstairs kids room to play with. I would definitely try and stay at this place again for future Tahoe trips.
