I usually don’t write reviews, however I don’t want others to make the same mistake as I did so I decided to make an exception.
I honestly don’t know how this place managed to get such great reviews because my experience has been the opposite.
I booked my room several weeks in advance and because of an injury to my shoulder and wrist, I specifically asked for a bottom bed. Upon my arrival, I was told that they decided to give me a top bed instead (this despite there being plenty of bottom beds available). Then they messed up my payment and thought that I should pay extra for THEIR mistake. As an added bonus I was mocked by the staff when trying to deal with the issue (as well on other occasions). A tip for the future; just because someone is a foreigner, it doesn’t mean that they don’t understand what you are saying when you speak Chinese.
The bed itself is the hardest i’ve ever slept on. Like a piece of concrete with a boulder for a pillow and a deflated beanbag for a blanket - neither of which are washed between guests, btw, and it’s obvious.
The bathroom I dirty and the toilet is both leaking and covered in pee so it stinks in there. Someone put their used bandaid on the shower door and they remained there for a week before they were removed. The showers themselves are covered in grime, dust and mold.
Lastly; internet is terrible and unreliable all over the place.
I really wouldn’t recommend this place. You can find much better value for your money elsewhere.
