The property is located in the peaceful hamlet of Cheglio, close to the village of Taino. Its strategic location offers quick access to both the Lombardy and Piedmont shores of Lake Maggiore, ideal for discovering lakeside towns, scenic countryside, and nearby lakes like Comabbio and Varese (20 minutes by car). Beaches such as Ispra, Cicognola, and Monate are all within a 15-minute drive.

The area’s highlight is the Rocca di Angera (an 8-minute drive), a medieval fortress with panoramic views, historic halls, and a unique Doll Museum. There is also a pleasant footpath that connects central Taino with Cheglio in around 15 minutes, passing through woodland with lovely views towards Lake Maggiore and the Monte Rosa massif on clear days. The surrounding countryside is ideal for gentle walks, especially in spring and autumn.
