Ett riktigt kanonhotell!
Jag brukar inte skriva recensioner om hotell, men det här hotellet var så otroligt bra. Nära till "storgatan" bara ett stenkast bort. Fräscha nya rum med AC, TV, bra badrum osv. Hotellet har en egen liten strand (ex. hav) men det kvittade helt. Stranden har sköna beanbags att ligga på, så det slutade med att vi spenderade våra dagar fram till 15 på dem vid poolen. Finns en supermarket precis över gatan så man kan enkelt ta sig över och handla de man behöver, rummen har kylskåp. Frukosten igår och är väldigt matig, de är ingen buffé utan de kommer med en färdig tallrik med olika saker varje dag, dock verkar scrambled egg och frukt vara återkommande på varje tallrik. Ägaren är supervänlig kvinna från USA som precis startat upp hotellet, hon var väldigt hjälpsam under vår vistelse. Så var beredda på att er eventuella transfer inte känner igen hotellet.. Vi var väldigt nöjda med detta ställe, hade absolut bott här igen om jag någonsin befinner mig i Tamarindo igen!

Based right in the heart of Tamarindo. Ten North was the perfect spot to be to hit up all the shops and amazing restaurants. We walked everywhere and when we woke up Saturday morning there was an amazing farmers market right outside the hotel where we grabbed some morning treats and local artwork. Thanks Ten North! We would stay here again in the future, good bang for your buck! Signed a New Yorker.

The hotel was quite comfortable. The beds were clean and comfortable. The staff was kind ,attentive and helpful. The pool was small but it served its purpose. The breakfast was delicious for a small price.

Location is very central and staff was really sweet. Unfortunately they suggested I pay for an upgrade to an apartment if I wanted quiet sleep. At 9pm the music starts and increases with extra deep bass (earplugs couldnt block) until well past 1 am. I was promised the next night would be better since it would be Sunday. It was louder still. Loved the service people here and the central location, but didn't like the music beat or proximity to loud nightime skate park (next door). Too bad I can only give it average because the staff was so nice.

This is a great property tp stay in if you want to be in town and walk everywhere. I had a Queen bed poolside room on the main floor. the room is clean and comfortable but is not modern and updated. Accommodations aside, the staff are kind and knowledgeable. I would stay here again and would recommend it for a good value for sure, but it would be wonderful if the rooms were updated.

The staff goes above and beyond for their guests. They are very friendly and held onto our luggage for a full day even after we checked out because we had an excursion. Property is clean and in a great location.

We loved that everything was so walkable. There's a grocery store right across the street and on Saturdays there is a huge farmer's market right next door in the park. Staff were extremely helpful in planning activities and helping us find anything else we needed. There is a club nearby that has loud music at night, so pack earplugs if you're not planning on partying all night. They also have them available for purchase at the front desk. It was lovely to have high quality fresh coffee available by the pool every morning. We didn't try the breakfast, but it looked delicious. We stayed for a week, so we did a grocery run the first day and cooked many of our meals in the room. They have all the utensils you'll need for basic cooking. We also highly recommend Breaking Bread or Cha Cafe for breakfast and Surf Shack has incredible burgers and shakes.

Loved Ten North. Was able to walk everywhere easily. Great access to many cafes, restaurants and beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Communication on paid shuttle pick up was excellent. Highly recommend!

This property was charming. Very small and intimate. We met wonderful people from all over Carol's breakfasts were delicious. The property is gated with a watchperson at night. Air conditioning and fans keep the rooms comfortable. The pool looks small but is very nice. Ice machine and filtered water available all day. AM coffee was amazing. Close to everything food and beach The only downside is the incredibly loud music every night. They provide noise machines and they did help

than the 1 night we booked. This hotel was a great reprieve from the onslaught of people trying to sell you stuff in Tamarindo. There’s a cute pool and hangout area, the rooms are great and the amenities were wonderful. Also the fact that they bring you breakfast to your patio table was a nice touch. The staff was great: very friendly, available, and knowledgeable. The hotel is right in the action of Tamarindo… next to a skatepark and a supermarket and a five min walk from the main strip and the beach. Definitely don’t need a car, everything is an easy walk from the hotel. Worth the price (which also wasn’t bad), I’d happily and proudly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Tamarindo.

An oasis in town!
All of the staff are super nice people and the location is great EXCEPT ....for the loud bar next door. The skate park and weekly market are right next door and neither was an issue at all but the bar music was a bit annoying due to the volume. The hotel provides a noise machine to cancel it out so was not a huge problem and certainly no reason to pass over staying here! We really liked this place for it location to all the restaurants and markets and would certainly stay here again. We referred to it as our little oasis in the middle of town!

Great location. 3 min walk down to the beach and walkable to all major restaurants and bars. It was nice being able to cool off in the pool after a full day at the beach. There is a grocery store that is literally across the street so if you need anything you can walk over grab some food or even some beers for when you are lounging around the pool. Small quaint hotel where you will be able to meet lots of people from all over the world.

Hôtel très accueillant et bien situé
Petit hôtel très agréable, très bien situé à 300m de la plage. Personnel très accueillant, Carol est adorable et se rend toujours disponible pour vous aider et vous donner des conseils. Lits confortables, cuisine très bien équipée, douche chaude,très propre, piscine, machine à glaçons, bon wifi, etc. Je recommande cet établissement. Très pratique pour un séjour en famille (nous étions avec 2 enfants de 6 et 4 ans).

We loved the small 2-bedroom apartment we booked for 3 weeks in July. For 2 kids and one adult it was perfect in size. It got a bit messy when we were 4 people. However, you are usually out and about and everything is close by on foot... Biggest plus: you are at the beach in 3 minutes! The pool is cleaned daily and really well taken care off. Our apartment was right by the pool and the kids loved to dip into it daily, and I could see them from the apartment and veranda. The ladies who cook breakfast and clean the rooms are very attentive and caring. Nothing was overlooked and everything was well stocked. The ice machine and filtered water dispenser is convenient for refilling your own water bottles. The kitchen is basic equipped, for a salad and pasta night with kids it works fine. The noise from the clubs can't be heard in the apartment bedrooms, and all bedrooms have A/C. And last but not least, for any trips you want to take or cabs you need to book, just ask the front desk. They are very helpful.

My family and I spent a week here and it was a lovely, relaxing stay. The pool is awesome! The staff were wonderful and so helpful and our suite was very comfortable with a great balcony and a full kitchen that came with everything we needed (down to paper towels and dish detergent.) The location is so convenient - near so many places to eat, across from a grocery store and less than two blocks to the beach. One recommendation to the staff: invest in a coin operated (or prepaid card) washing machine and dryer so that guests can do their laundry on site and the hotel can collect a little more income from this service.
