Marriot Gold member. Possibly the worst check in experience I have had. After making arrangements for a delayed check in due to flight issues was denied the ability to check in for a pre-paid room. The check in attendant who claimed she was the on duty manager claimed there was nothing that could be done, but I could pay for another room despite having already paid, and not yet checking in. After politely disagreeing for a prolonged period (over 20 min) was finally allowed to use the room “for less than 2 hours, just to shower”. Very negative experience.
Wa planning to book for additional days on the tail end of my Florida trip, and will be staying elsewhere.
