Mycket central läge. Litet men ok rum. Frukost med begränsat utbud men ok, frukostservicen toppen. Hela hotellet i behov av upprustning. Städningen var urusel, när vi anlände var golvet fullt med skräp (chips och annat) från föregående gäst, efter tillsägelse var städning ok för några dagar men blev därefter dålig igen. Wi-fi var bara tillgängligt då och då, vissa dagar inte alls

Litet, enkelt hotell mitt i Taormina. Bra läge om man vill bo på huvudgatan. Små rum, väldigt små badrum.

Centralt läge på gågatan i Taormina. Många restauranger i närheten. Hotellets erbjudande om privatstrand inklusive bussresa var bra. Trådlöst internet fungerar tyvärr bara i lobbyn och på takterassen. Vi hade balkong men den är liten, omöblerad och över gågatan så vi föredrog den stora takterassen som har en fantastisk utsikt över staden och Etna. Frukosten var typiskt syditaliensk, dvs mycket sötsaker.

Inte värda tre stjärnor
Hotellet skulle behöva en rejäl renovering och städningen var under all kritik. Dock trevlig receptionspersonal och frukosten var okej. Mysigt att äta frukost på taket och fantastisk utsikt. Men i övrigt ett sunkigt hotell.

Jag och tjejen bodde här i en vecka och hotellet ligger mitt på "centralgatan" och det va lätt att ta sig överallt. Rummet va ljudinsolerat och hade bra AC (lite för bra). Kan verkligen rekommendera sushi restaurangen som ligger precis hotellet, verkligen jättebra!

Trevligt hotell med finlandsfärjekänsla
Hotellets läge är perfekt - närhet till alla sevärdheter, busstation, linbana, restauranger och (exklusiv) shopping. Personalen var mycket vänliga och hjälpsamma, och eftersom vi var nyförlovade fick vi en gratis uppgradering till ett finare rum högst upp i byggnaden med en fantastisk, svårslagen havsutsikt och med en egen, liten balkong. Det enda negativa var att allting kändes ganska litet - korridorerna var trånga (och med heltäckningsmatta), hissen minimal och badrummet trångt, men det var som sagt inget stort problem. Frukosten var bra, enbart wifi i närheten av receptionen.

Medelmåttigt hotell i mycket bra läge
Hotellet ligger mycket bra till i Taormina, mitt på huvudgatan och relativt nära linbanan ner till Isola Bella. Vi möttes dock av ett rum där fönsterskyddet ("markisen") hade trillat ned, och där receptionisten hävdade sig vara okapabel att göra någonting åt detta innan chefen kom tillbaka nästa dag. Efter många om och men löstes det dock genom att den togs bort helt. Rent allmänt känns det som att hotellet vet att de har ett mycket bra läge, och därför inte behöver anstränga sig det lilla extra avseende service och gästnöjdhet. Detta gäller framför allt personalen, medans chefen verkade väldigt bra och engagerad. Rummen är i grunden fina, dock något slitna framför allt i badrummen.

Perfekt läge I Taormina
Ja mer centralt än att bo här har jag svårt att tänka mig då man besöker Taormina. Men som då man skall besöka denna stad så gäller att man inte får körs bil inne i staden. Parkera på parkerings hus Lumbi är min rekommendation. Därifrån går det sedan avgifts fri buss upp till stadens port. Därifrån tar det 5 minuter att gå till hotellet. Frukosten avnjuter man uppe på hotellets tak med en underbar utsikt över staden och havet. Frukosten rätt bra och fräsch.

En mycket trevlig stad
Det är ett bra hotell med bra frukost... duschen är tyvärr av modell mindre och städningen är ok ... men sånt tänker man inte på när man är i Taormina... hotellet erbjuder buss-turer till stranden för 4€/pers. Då ingår gratis solstolar. Hotellet har ingen egen parkering. Har man bil får man parkera i P-hus för ca 13€/dygn. Det går gratisbussar till p-huset med jämna mellanrum. Hållplatsen ligger ca 100 meter fr hotellet. WiFi:n är inte gratis. 1€ för en tim, 2€ för 4 tim eller 4€ för 24 tim. Tiden räknas av varje gång du låggar in.

Det är ett fräscht hotell med ett jätte bra läge. Då Taormina är dyrt under turistsäsong fick vi riktigt bra priser på hotellet i jämförelse med allt annat som höll en bra standard. Hela resesälsskapet var nöjda! Dock var det inte världens trevligaste personal (inte otrevliga), men det funkar jätte bra om man inte är ute efter lyx!

We booked tgis hotel and was put us in Hitel Villa Diodoro because they were remodeling. Villa Diodoro, the front staff was very rude and did not want to answer any of our questions, like what time is breakfast. When we arrived at our room there was a buzzing noise with a rattle (402). When we reported it to the front desk, they said it should stop at 9:30. They couldn't move us since they were full (which many rooms were not being used since rolling shutters were down all day and evening). The noise did not stop. Needless to say, we had a hard time sleeping. We finally talked to the front desk manager the next day, and he moved us to a different room. There was no compensation for the lack of sleep, not even an apology. The room floors are very dirty and need a good cleaning, the carpet in the hall needs to be replaced. The linens were torn. I am sure the hotel was nice in the 80's but has not been updated since. The breakfast was all processed food, from the meats to the pastries. They had an instant machine for coffee and juice like a cafeteria. The pool area was not open, the front desk told us it was dangerous. They had no shuttle to the bottom. The driveway was broken and unsafe to walk up. Basically, it needs a good overhaul. The view was spectacular. But many other choices for the price that we paid for supposedly a 4 start hotel that had a Michelin star 5 years ago. Very disappointed. Make sure you are actully staying at the hotel you booked

It has a fantastic location. That, and ability to use the beach privileges at their sister location, made it an excellent value for the money. The rooms are comfortable; ours has a nice balcony. The room interiors need a refresh.

Wonderful Stay
Had a wonderful week at the Hotel Isabella,the staff from reception to the cleaners were always friendly and cheerful. The building could do with a bit of TLC but that had no effect on our holiday.Our room was at the front of the Hotel where it was always busy up til 1am but the room once the balcony doors were shut was well soundproofed. The aircon worked very well and the two single beds arranged as a double was very comfy and gave a good nights sleep. The breakfast was Buffet style and ample with the typical mix of fresh meats cheese fruit etc served on the roof terrace with a marvellous view of the coast. We would definitely stay here again

The location of this property was absolutely perfect! There was noise from the busy street during the night but this was expected given the location of the room. We were disappointed in the appliances not working such as the fridge and air conditioning. The shower waa also extremely small.

They closed this hotel for renovations and never informed us or expedia. So we got there and had no idea what to do or where to stay and then we spent 3 hours on the phone with expedia trying to fix that out.

We were told 20 minutes before arrival that the hotel was closed! And that we were transferred to hotel Diodoro. A nice hotel, but a long distance from where we had arranged to have transport. So we had to drag heavy luggage a very long way…and then walk up a hill to town! A terrible situation! Why did you allow us to book a closed hotel! A very very bad result which wasted an hour of our time and caused us to be very worried about how to get to the Diodoro and we were very tired…we are 68years old!! Not acceptable!

Our stay at Hotel Isabella
Hotel Isabella is in a great location right in the main shopping area of Taormina. It is an old historic building, so don't expect the most modern amenities, but it has plenty of old world charm! As you would expect in an older building, the rooms are small but very nice. If you are driving - do not try to park at Hotel Isabella! We tried that, big mistake! There is paid parking at Lumbi just off the expressway. Free shuttles will transport you nearby and there is a short walk to the hotel.

Hôtel très agréable situé en plein centre de la ville. Très belle vue de la ville sur la terrasse. Très bon accueil et accommodements jusqu’à ce que notre chambre soit prête. Le seul inconvénient est le stationnement qui est à l’extérieur de la ville et le transport des valises à l’hôtel.

the location is great and the staff are friendly however the facility itself leaves much to be desired. They don't have air conditioning as of October--which is still hot is Taormina--so we were very hot in the room. The room was musty and the beds uncomfortable and even with the patio doors open, there was no air circulating. it was also more expensive than other hotels that are a bit higher up and a lot more comfortable an nice

Perfect spot to explore Taormina. Right on the main street which is where you want to be. The hotel is clean and the staff is welcoming. The breakfast is excellent. The view from the roof is outstanding.

This is my second and last time staying at the hotel Isabella . The staff has no smiles they are not welcoming. You have to acknowledging them with Bongiorno. They are not helpful They told me I had to ot and extra $50.00 per night for my second guest. They made me sign stating I pay the $50 per night when I signed it I wrote I like to speak to the manager never contacted us or followed up with us. They gave us one towel no hot water very poor air conditioning, no iron Fuse kept blowing when using the hair dryer. The only thing I can say was nice was location besides that I would book and other hotel.where they will treat you like family. Been to Italy last six years in a row except Covid 2020 The hotel is outdated and dirty they only give you one roll of toilet paper . Think I spent almost $1000 for four nights and it was horrible.

Dear Thomas,reffering to your review please note that you booked 2 different rooms 1 for the first night for 2 people and 1 for the second night for 1 person, for this reason, we ask the supplement. Furthermore you booked another night and we gave a free upgrade in a room with balcony and sea view, and you did not complain us for our smile, or for the clean of the room, and maybe because you feel as in family and enjoed the holiday have decided to spend one more night at Hotel Isabella

Excellent location unless you have luggage. Town center is pedestrian only. If you have luggage you either have to go down many stairs or walk 250 meters from the town gate, and there is no parking there. If you have a car you go to thee parking lot a half kilometer away and either walk uphill or take the parking shuttle or a taxi to the main gate, and lord help you if you can't carry it all in one trip. The staffing is at too low a level and there are no porters. I would gladly pay 10 to 30 euro more if they had a porter and valet service, like many other hotels in town centers. Rooftop deck for breakfast has outstanding views. One desk clerk was helpful but the others were all surly or diffident.

We know that in our 3 star Hotel there is not a belboy but every times that the guest needs an help we are here for them also with a lugagges and also the girls at the reception. all of the staff gives a nice smiling to our guest, we are sorry that you could not see it in one night of your stay with uswe hope we will see for a next holidayBest Regards
