The check in time was later than Iâm used to but you have your own parking spot reserved with your room, you walk though a beautiful garden to get to the room, we reserved the storyteller suite, so our view faces the setting sun which was gorgeous.

âThis B&B is a historic site with the old Taos vibe. Great staff, wonderful breakfasts made on site with fresh ingredients, quiet surroundings and mountain style landscapes. Rooms are spacious and furnished with comfort and grace. We will return. â
âI had a very pleasant stay at the Taos Inn. Itâs close to everything and carries the old charm you just donât find in cookie-cutter rooms. The character of the inn is a true plus. A meal at Doc Martinâs is a must, and donât miss a late patio visit with a cocktail while people-watching the patrons of Taos. The Taos Inn is now a must-stay on my return trips.â

âThe La Fonda is a beautiful old hotel. Paying for parking in the rear was so worth it. We came and left frequently, going to historical sites and Taos Pueblo. We were able to sample some local cuisine in the hotel restaurant and the owner was very informative, telling us about the history of his people and the foods they prepare(d). âCheck in and check out were completely remote and extremely easy and convenient.
Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Wifi was fast, water pressure was good, parking easy. They also had a lovely little outdoor area to sit in. I would highly recommend stepping out at night to see the stars - we could see the entire milky way from the parking lot.
The only little thing was that the A/C remote was a little hard to use.

âThe only way short of camping to be out in the middle of nowhere and experience the night sky and the quiet is at Hotel Luna Mystica. Also there was a fabulous pizza restaurant just a few miles away. We stayed five nights. The toilet in Spartacus was very cramped but it worked. All in all worth it. The staff is great and it is so nice to stay a place without all kinds of signs indicating not to do this or that.â
