Hôtel très bien placé : à la lisière de la vieille ville, il est d’ailleurs en partie construit sur les remparts et l’accès permis à sa terrasse offre une des plus belle vues sur les toits de la vieille ville (origine arabo-andalouse), le détroit et les côtes marocaines jamais si proches. En même temps, sa façade Nord donne directement sur un boulevard : l’accès à l’hôtel est donc facile et on peut aisément garer sa voiture dans l’une des petites rues desservant le quartier. Jesus, le patron est très accueillant, disponible et de bon conseil. Les chambres sont propres, les fenêtres à double vitrage et le ménage comme le lit sont faits tous les jours. Le rapport qualité-prix est très satisfaisant.

Ubicación, instalaciones y trato perfecto.
El alojamiento se encuentra en un lugar tranquilo y céntrico. Tanto la atención que hemos recibido como las intalaciones han sido maravillosas. Además fueron muy de agradecer las indicaciones turísticas y gastronómicas que nos dieron. Sin duda recomiendo este alojamiento. Muchas gracias por todo!

Ok but v basic
I don’t know where they took the pictures! It was ok but it was a hostel not a hotel. Breakfast was coffee and a bun with just tinned pate or peach jam. Coffee was Luke warm. Mat in bathroom threadbare and toilet ran on - But it wasn’t expensive So ok for one night.

Thank you for staying with us. The photos referred to are real, the type of room chosen is the basic option. The breakfast is continental (natural orange juice, coffee or infusions, daily bread with a variety of spreads). Giving the option to repeat as they wish.

It’s a basic bed in the room with en-suite. The room is small but clean and we were comfortable. There is no elevator but stairs are good. The staff is wonderful- gave us lots of help with our transportation questions. It’s located right at the gate to the old town, short walk to the port and a longer walk straight down the main street to the bus station. Very good value!

Jesus was an excellent host with excellent local knowledge to help you out when needed. The bedrooms are basic but clean, comfortable and toiletries supplied. It is very close to tarifa old town with plenty of shops and restaurants. The beack is walking distance down the hill and there is a taxi rank 100 meters from the hotel. We would stay there again. We flew into jerez Airport and travelled by train from Airport to cadiz and bus from cadiz to tarifa, due to flight time home we had to get a taxi back to Airport and booked it locally for €150, cheaper than if you try to book it from the uk before you travel.

Stayed two nights, the owner was nice but only one receptionist could speak English. No English TV so maybe they should get Sky?? Also suggest they try Changing their tea, it was pretty grim.

First of all, ignore the photo of the room used in the Expedia ad. I have no idea where that photo came from, but you're likely not booking that room. The rooms are pretty basic, being more like college dorm rooms than anything else. They're perfectly serviceable as long as all you want is a cot to sleep on indoors while you surf and whatnot, but they're no more than that. Also be ready for some weird quirks. For example, it was impossible to use our shower without flooding the bathroom floor, and the AC--which I was thankful we had, as it was HOT--blew directly onto one of the two beds in the room, making that bed uncomfortably cold. However, the place is clean enough and comes with a breakfast of sorts, so it's not bad, just "okay."

After a long day of traveling it was good that the hotel was so close to the port. Jesus did a great job with serving breakfast before check out.

Great place to stay in Tarifa!
Had a great experience staying here for three nights as a solo traveler! Pros: good location for Tarifa sites and walkable from bus station, friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, great breakfast, quiet and very accommodating of solo travelers

The owner, who singlehandedly provides hospitality and breakfasts, is solicitous but not over-bearing. The place seems to have been reently updated with lovely tiles and comfortable rooms.

nice/easy one night stay
As a precautious solo traveler, the security/identity confirmation at the front door from the get-go made me feel safe. The staff was very friendly and laid back, all while maintaining professionalism. My room was on the small side, but you don’t need much space just to crash for a night. The bathroom came with amenities which I was not expecting, so that was a definite convenience plus for me. My room was on the ground floor and facing the street (which is a staple street for navigating the town) so I was nervous with the window, however, there was a security lock and layer of shades that helped. The decorations in the room were very multicultural and different, a cool vibe to the room. Overall, a great experience for how inexpensive the cost and would recommend. My only note of concern was a questionable smell at night - I had a huge group of friends use my personal bathroom before they left, so I am not sure if it smelled (a little) like urine because of the european toilet system with so much use (in addition to my long shower)? If the smell were strong/bad enough I would have said something to the staff, however it was very minor and I assumed that it was because of 8 people using the toilet back to back. The check-out process the next morning was very quick. Another great perk here is that there’s a cafe bar where I could get a coffee and snack before I head out for my next excursion.

For day trippers to Morocco, this location was a great way to start a long day. Jesus, the owner, waited for our late arrival and was very helpful and welcoming. The information on the posting is correct. We are a family of 5 and appreciated being able to only have to get one room rather than 2. The room was a bit musty and the twin beds not so comfortable. The queen bed was super comfy.

Kleines gemütliches Hotel mit sehr stilvollen Zimmern. Das Hotel ist an die alte Stadmauer angebaut,ein Teil der alten Stadtmauern ist hinter der Bar zu sehen. Dieses Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen,ca 5 minuten vom Strand. Optimal fürs Sufen oder für einen Ausflug mit der Fähre auf Marokko das in einer halben Stunde zu erreichen ist. Parkplätze hat es auf der Seitenstrasse, wir hatten kein Problem zum parkieren.Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich. Ausserdem ist die Gegend sehr sicher da der Dorfpolizist in der Nähe wohnt und mit dem Besitzter befreundet ist. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und die Betten sehr bequem. Allerdings muss darauf geachtet werden das die Hauptüre am Abend geschlossen wird da die Rezeption nicht um die Uhr besetzt ist. Auf Wunsch kann auch ein Frühstück bestellt werden. Für mich war es eines der besten Hotels die ich auf meinem Trip durch Andalusien besucht habe. Wär eine Abwechslung von den grossen Hotels sucht wo meistens ein Lärm von den anderen Gästen die Nachtruhe stört ist jedenfalls sehr gut beraten mit diesem Hotel....
