Everything was perfect! The place is so clean and beautiful, and the hosts were attentive but not at all intrusive. The views and ambience are perfect and serene. This is the PERFECT hill country getaway, hands-down!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the tree house and it was amazing! Matched the pictures and was very cute, will definitely stay again.

I loved this place. Nestled in the hill country on a ranch with other vacation rentals comfortably spaced across the property, this tree house was perfect. Just the right size for a weekend getaway. We were greeted by the 2 longhorns on the way in and delighted in listening to elks in rut calling to each other in the morning and late evening. This place exceeded expectations and I can’t say enough nice things about this place.

Beautiful location

Very impressed with the property. Beautiful Ranch. Really enjoyed the hiking trails, especially the one behind the Lodge. Also enjoyed the wild life and the cats as we are lovers of all animals. We stayed in the Treehouse and there were no other people staying close to us during our stay.

Naturalist's dream getaway!!

Tree house is nestled in the hills between bigtooth maples and lacey oaks. Multiple trails on property, with varying degrees of difficulty suited to hikers of all level. Immersed in wildlife; morning hike featured breathtaking views, majestic elk, flock of wild turkey, blackbuck antelope climing hill, and face to face with a ram. Cozy, comfotable interior with king bed, walk in shower, and great heating! Charming touches like beautiful dinnerware and elegant furniture. Secluded, romantic getaway for 2! Only 30 min from Lost Maples. Bring your binoculars and camera! Cons: BYO water; while potable, the water is not drinkable (extremely sour). No cell service, so plan accordingly. While the property itself boasts wifi, you'll need to download directions etc ahead of time for the travel out there. Stove is great, but there is no oven.

Everything was great. Really nice accommodations and close to 3 state parks for great hiking. We also explored the 3 trails on the property and enjoyed the views and the wildlife. Great place to get away without having to rough it.
