“Cottage was well equipped, hosts have thought of everything you could need. Fireplace kept the loungeroom lovely and warm on what was an incredibly windy cold day. We didn’t get to enjoy the alfresco area because the weather was so cold but it looked like a great spot to have an afternoon drink. Bed was comfortable and warm.”

“Very nice studio room - had everything one could need in a compact and comfortable space. Very nice water view and walkable for persons with reasonable ability/fitness. Otherwise very short drive to any part of Strahan. Host was very prompt in communication. Check-in and out was all incredibly easy. Be aware that studio is a carport away from multi bed cottage, and any movement of that guest’s vehicle is very noticeable. ”

“The property has the most wonderful views from its elevated position. The driveway is steep - but worth it. Imagine beautiful sunsets in front of a roaring fire on the deck in autumn - that’s what we got. (Not sure if the owners arranged the sunsets, but the fire & indoor wood burner were ready to light.) Kitchen was stocked with choice of cereals plus milk & juice for breakfast plus other nice touches. There were many appliances & cookware options and a BBQ to boot. Bathroom & kitchen...

“First impression needs to be improved (weeds in front yard, rot on posts, pealing paint). Home has a lot of charm but furnishings could be updated. Would be a good space for family who don't mind an outdated feel.”

“We stayed in the house and not a cabin. Facilities in the kitchen and bathroom were good, and the bed very comfy. Clean conditions. Very quiet area. BYO extras like tea/coffee, soap/shampoo though. Thanks for the stay - Deb was courteous and helpful.”
