Studio on Shera - Acacia Bay

Studio on Shera is located in beautiful Acacia Bay, with a 5 minute walk to the lake, walking tracks, cafes, restaurant bar and store. Located in a quiet neighborhood. This 2 bedroom flat has been stylishly renovated to impress and will ensure that you have a relaxed and easy holiday in Taupo. Bring the boat or your lake toys and enjoy creating memories of a lifetime. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

Modern, fresh and contemporary. From your arrival you will be impressed with the form and function of this lovely space. The flat is comfortable and well-appointed with its own outside access and lockable door. You can sit outside and enjoy the tranquility.
PLEASE NOTE – This property is STRICTLY not suitable for parties, events, or loud groups.
Located on the lower level of a two story home, you have your own private entrance which leads to the very comfortable studio with a basic kitchenette and a BBQ available for cooking. Please note there is no oven or cooktop.
open plan living, dining and kitchenette. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the family room with a single bed bunk set and single bed.
The bathroom offers a good size shower, vanity and toilet and shares with the laundry.

Upstairs is used occasionally by the homeowners so you might run into them from time to time. They are very respectful of guest space and privacy.
There is plenty of car parking on the driveway and the boat ramp is close by.
Access is for the downstairs flat only.

We like to give our guests their privacy but Kerry is available by phone or text to answer any questions and we are only ever 10-15 minutes drive away if needed in an emergency.

Rotorua is only one hours drive and Hawkes Bay within 1.5 hours drive for a day of sightseeing and for the active traveler the Ski field and Tongariro crossing is an 1.5 hours drive. The Glowworm Caves are also 2 hours drive and Hobbiton 1.5 hours making Taupo the heart of the North Island and the perfect place to stay and explore from.

Disappointing

The property itself was clean and well set up. Unfortunately, the owners were upstairs during our stay and the noise of foot traffic was very loud. We slept with earplugs in and could still hear it. People were coming and going until 2 am. When someone arrived at the upstairs house, the security light shone directly into the main bedroom, waking us up. A partial refund was given but hardly compensation for 2 sleepless nights. If you stay here, make sure no one is upstairs!

Tidy nice 2 bed

This was a tidy and well appointed basement 2 bedroom unit. The layout is a little unusual but it worked well. It was very clean, well presented and in a nice location. Has a very new feel to it. Communication with the property manager was excellent.

Great location clean and tidy

Perfect location, clean and tidy all new, only thing there is microwave and BBQ no hot plate, pans or pot, bring your own if you plan to make meals.
