45 minuter från flygplatsen, är Casa Lia ligger i den oförstörda kullarna i Forest of Conceicao, med vacker utsikt över landskapet och havet. 15 minuters bilresa från den vackra staden Tavira med sina kullerstensgator och utmärkta restauranger. Vi har ett urval av utmärkta stränder som Manta Rota, Ilha de Tavira, Cabanas bara 15 minuter bort. Barnens attraktioner som Aqua Show och Zoo Marine är en bilresa bort. Köket är stort och välutrustat och öppet plan med vardagsrummet som är mycket bekvämt med tre stora soffor, satellit-TV DVD-spelare, stereo. Separat grovkök inrymmer en andra kyl och frys, diskmaskin, tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Interiör från villan mäter 209 kvadratmeter.

Great vacation place!

The villa is comfortable (we traveled only as 3 people but it’s a good place for 4-6) and located in a very serene area. You will have beautiful views around but need to drive around 20-25 min to beautiful beaches. The roads are however pretty and not too narrow so for us it was a pleasure to drive every day. The house was extremely clean and check-in very nice and easy.Debbie was always very helpful with lots of handy information. We had a wonderful vacation in Casa Lia and highly recommend it!

Beautiful home and property. Quiet and well located to get to beaches and Tavira easily by car. Would highly recommend. The host checked in regularly, and offered lots of good information. House was well stocked, but if you are arriving late, make sure to pick up groceries.

Zen getaway

We stayed at the Villa 11 perfect days. We visited the Algarve and this was our homebase. Debbie the owner was soooo on top of things and helpful whenever we needed help.. Jimmy and Fatima catered to our every needs if we needed help. The Villa was spacious and clean, the views were breathtaking,it was the perfect feeling of calmness.

Einfach nur toll!

Die Villa war wirklich toll. Alles vorhanden, was man braucht! Die Räume sind schön hell und man genießt die Zeit drinnen als auch am Pool! Wer zudem die Ruhe genießt und gleichzeitig in kurzer Zeit mit dem Mietwagen in Tavira und Umgebung sein will, wird hier sehr glücklich sein!

Vacances entre amis

Tres belles vacances à Casa Lia. La piscine est très agréable, la terrasse aussi. La maison est spacieuse et très bien entretenue ( merci à Jimmy et à sa femme) tout est conforme à la description de l annonce . L environnement est très calme. ( on aurait apprécié des rideaux occultants dans les chambres) . Merci pour tout.

Ruhe und Erholung

Wir haben Ruhe gesucht und hier gefunden. Keine Nachbarn in der Nähe, auf dem Hügel gelegen, viel Wind zur Abkühlung und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 20 Minuten mit dem Auto. Debbie und die Hausverwaltung waren immer jederzeit erreichbar. 😃

Peace and tranquility

Casa Lia was clean and really well-equipped with absolutely everything we needed. The outdoor space was perfect with a table in a shaded area and a pool perfect for cooling off. It was really windy while we were there - particularly at night so if you are a light sleeper ear plugs might be handy. The communication with Debbie, the owner was great and Jimmy and Fatima were on hand to guide us to the Villa when we arrived and deal with any queries. The villa is in a stunning location - completely away from other properties. It is about a 15 minute drive from Tavira which is a beautiful town - and especially stunning at night. Local beaches are great - we’d particularly recommend Cacela Velha. Casa Lia was a fantastic place for real rest and relaxation!

Magical

From driving up on the first night and seeing the beautiful driveway lights, to our leisurely final day by the pool, this villa has been exquisite throughout. The owner has found just the right balance between keeping it extremely clean while making it a comfortable and fun place to spend your hols. It’s remote (how we like it) but just 10 minute drive from restaurants/ supermarkets etc. Imagine waking up in the stunning natural Algarve nature and jumping into your own private pool in the hills. I’ll never forget the peace this place put in my heart. Would I come again? You betcha!

Perfect rural getaway

Fantastic place to stay, away from it all but had everything we needed. Pool wasn't heated but we soon got used to the cool water and the location was perfect. Great contact from owner and property manager.

Amazing place!

Our vacation is ready, we are home. What a great vacation it was! Thanks to Debbie, Denise and Jimmy!! Debbie is available 24/7 and a great host. Sweet, involved and sincere. And Denise and Jimmy are always around in case something goes wrong! And respect your privacy. During our holiday we literally stood in front of some hot fires. And Debbie was always ready…. With a sweet app or a phone call to let you know how things are going. The house is lovely. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is here and more! Peace, freedom and sun. Highly recommended. Very nice house with a beautiful view

The house and location is very well described on the website and you get what you see - a very nice house with a beautiful view. My husband, daughter and I enjoyed every moment. The location is peaceful and you simply can just relax and enjoy the pool. Both Denise and Debbie are really nice and helpful so you feel you are in good hands during the whole stay. We can highly recommend this place. Tavira is very nice and cosy and the beaches are just amazing.

Hervorragend!

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen! Debbie war eine tolle Gastgeberin! Sie hat uns im Vorfeld gut informiert, sich während unseres Urlaubs regelmäßig nach unserem Wohlergehen erkundigt und stand auch ansonsten immer umgehend für Rückfragen zur Verfügung! Der Pool wurde regelmäßig gereinigt und was uns besonders gefreut hat, auch das Haus wurde jede Woche gründlich gereinigt! Super! Klare Weiterempfehlung auf allen Ebenen!

Beautiful villa in the hills

We loved the quiet secluded location,with beautiful views in all directions, yet only 10/15 mins from Tavira. Great restaurants close by and in the town. Fabulous villa with gorgeous pool. Clean and comfortable with everything you could wish for to make your stay perfect. Fantastic BBQ and terrace for lovely outdoor dining. The perfect place to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful holiday.

Lovely family villa set in quiet location, ideal for 6 with lots of space to spread out & relax

My wife and I have been holidaying in Tavira for over 12 years now and really love the area. This year we decided to holiday with our daughter, partner and grandchildren aged 5 & 2 and chose this villa for our stay. Whilst there are steps to access the property from the driveway, the rest of the villa and pool area are all on 1 level which is ideal for little 1's to be able to move around without taking a tumble. The kitchen and lounge are spacious and open plan which again makes it easier for food preparation and chatting/relaxing to be the norm. You can dine inside or out to suit you but we dined outside as the table area is fully shaded in the morning and evening. Lunchtime, half the area is shaded but we just moved the chairs onto that side and managed to get all 6 of us in the cool. There is lots of space around the pool for 6 loungers, tables and parasol and still have room to be able play some games too or there is a large sun terrace area on the roof where you can have a kick about or dry washing out of the way. The pool is lovely and the kids loved being able to splash about to cool off whenever they wanted as did the adults !! There are 3 or 4 steps to get in/out and then the pool slopes quickly away to it's max. depth - I'm 5ft 10 and could stand all the way around no problem. We also liked that the floor outside by the pool doesn't become too hot to walk on in bare feet in the afternoon unlike some of the terracotta tiles. Again, great for the little 1's and adults alike - no need for any mad dashes getting out of the pool or taking a breather from the loungers, risking stubbed toes etc !! The property is well presented with lots of extra bed linen and towels in abundance. Each room has aircon and some have ceiling fans too. In this property, you have to pay extra for electricity used during your stay and the owner estimates a party of 6 will normally use about £7/£9 per day so just bear this in mind. Most properties we have stayed in previously include this in their pricing but here it's your choice to some degree how much you use. The property is well located for access to supermarkets, meals out in Tavira and the motorway are all within a 15/20 mins drive. The property manager Mitchell is very approachable and went out of his way to help us if we needed something, he is only about 20 mins away and Ron & Denise - a lovely couple who manage the pool cleaning are just up the road. All in all we had a lovely family holiday.

Fantastic peaceful and spacious well equipped villa

Just returned from a short stay at Casa Lia. We absolutely loved it. Travelling with two teenage boys we all had plenty of our own space as lots of room inside and outside. Everything was there that you needed even down to the picnic box & cold blocks for when we were out for the day to the water parks. There were plenty of towels, plastic pots and all conceivable kitchen items. The villa whilst peaceful is down an unmade track for the last 800 metres. We had a low slung sports car which was not ideal. Plenty of places to visit within a 30-45 drive. There are large supermarkets within a 15 minute drive. The house manager Mitchell was very helpful and the check in process was very easy including liaising with Debbie the owner who was extrembly helpful. We would love to come back again.

Beautiful location and well equipped Villa

We spent 2 weeks in July 17 and had a great time. The VIlla is very homely with everything needed for a peaceful holiday. It is remote, but that's what we wanted, although it's only a 15 minute drive to Tavira. Outside space is great with stunning views across the valleys. It is in quite a windy spot which is great during the day as it's a cool breeze on a very hot day, but the wind can howl at night. The owner Debbie was very accommodating throughout and managed any questions we had quickly. Air conditioning is extra, so you will need to keep an eye on the use of it. I think it was about an extra £60 a week for the electricity. Overall the location was great, close to many places and away from any crowds. If you want a quiet family holiday then this is the place.

A beautiful grand and very spacious peaceful villa surrounded by the hills near lovely Tavira

This is our fourth family visit. We keep coming back because this non overlooked villa is simply stunning. The villa is very clean (always cleaned prior to a visit) and well presented with all you need and more inside. The outside has a lovely pool with rolling views down to the sea in the distance. There is a very large patio area with a huge BBQ that we love cooking on. There is also a table outside for eating. This villa can accomodate a large group in style. You will not be disappointed. We love it! Ps A contact is provided during your stay who is very helpful and cleans the pool on a regular basis. Good to have around if you have any questions about anything !

A great place for a relaxing holiday

We found Casa Lia the perfect place for a get away from it all holiday. We loved driving up from the N125, over the bridges, through the villages and forest, led expertly for the first time by Mitchell though we found your written instructions were so clear that we think we would have made it on our own! We found the villa absolutely amazing, spacious, clean, well equipped and the views absolutely spectacular. We made good use of the pool and spent many hours on the terrace, sunbathing in the daytime and watching the stars in the evening. All 3 of us managed to see a shooting star during our week, that must be a lucky sign! We did venture away from the villa to visit nearby beaches and restaurants but were always happy to return. We thought the automatic driveway lights when we returned in the dark were magical! We found Mitchell charming and although we didn't need to call him during the week, it was reassuring to know he was on the end of the phone. All in all a memorable holiday, just wish we were there longer!
