âWe were in and out of the city for a concert at Chicago Theater. No frills stay but a comfy bed. Wish the lights were brighter in the room. Bar downstairs was great and the area was walkable. Would stay again. Thanks!â

âExtended weekend trip to Chicago. Thompson Chicago has a great location in a neighborhood packed with restaurants and shops. But the rooms in the hotel are showing signs of some wear and tear. The restaurant and bar are currently closed for renovation. â

AC'n vĂ€snades vĂ€ldigt saknade Ă€ven te pĂ„ rummet. Ingen room service finns vilket förvĂ€ntas av ett 4 stjĂ€rningt hotel. Det gick inte heller att betala notan i förskott vilket var mycket oflexibelt. â

âMycket trevligt litet hotell, bra lĂ€ge i shoppingdistrikt. Jag hade ett litet rum vilket passade mig perfekt. NĂ€ra till shopping och attraktioner i centrum. Mycket trevlig personal. Enkel men god frukost.â
âHotellet ligger bra med bara 10min gĂ„ngvĂ€g till tunnelbanan dĂ€r mĂ„nga linjer möts.Ăven tunnelbanan till O hare flygplats ligger vid detta stopp.Ligger Ă€ven hyfsat centralt för mĂ„nga av sevĂ€rdheterna.Det var rent och stĂ€dat pĂ„ rummet.Enda jag skulle kunna klaga pĂ„ Ă€r att det kommer lite ljud frĂ„n korridoren.â

Right across the river, right next to the Magnificent Mile, a short walk away from Navy Pier, and surrounded by great restaurants and convenient stores.
The pool on the fifth floor is spectacular and offers amazing views of the downtown skyline.
Moreover, the hotel is in a clean and safe part of the city.
Stayed there with two small kids, and had no problem roaming the neighborhood after dark.

âThere with a friend for a concert - we wanted someplace with easy access to the L Train. This was definitely it! We were on the 2nd floor with a window right next to the tracks and could barely hear the train go by. Didn't hear any of our neighbors, and the staff was always helpful and friendly! â

"Good location down town Chicago. Good for family with kids with a decent breakfast included in the price. Busy breakfast area though. Crowded and hectic. The inner open yard sounds like a swimmingpool hall. Bed sofa not very comfortable. "

The automatic elevators was a big plus, waiting time short and effective use of the elevators, more hotels should have this setup"
"As a swede, my opinon is that hotels in US can differ so much in quality, but this hotel is really a gem! Very clean, fresh and a great feeling everywhere. Friendly staff, great gym and in general a high quality experience. We booked with breakfast, and the breakfast is worth its price. Overall, a really great experience!"
