“We opted for three nights here after 2 nights at a 5-star in old town Yogyakarta and were delighted the contrast. This was quiet and more personable. The "in-village" experience was pleasant, never obtrusive. Security and comfort were good. Though much was written in other reviews about the noise from the mosques nearby, they did not bother us at all - it was actually a nice sampling of one part of life for most Indonesians and not disturbing of our rest. “When you arrive in Java villa boutique hotel, you fell like in a little heaven, it looks gorgeous & relaxing inside with the pool, the plants and the whole reception & common area. It is located in a super nice area, close to restaurants and small shop and close enough from marlioboro. Staff is really nice as always in Indonesia. I absolutely recommend the place ! ”
