âWe love to stay here when visiting Black Mountain. The only thing I could say that might need improvement is the caulk in our shower. It needs replacing as it looked moldy.â
âFast and friendly check in. The rooms are clean and comfortable. An older hotel but seems to be kept up. Breakfast is just muffins and coffee is around the clock. Cameras everywhere which made me feel safe. The only downfall was the pool not being available. â
âThis place is a GEM. The staff was so friendly. The rooms are super cute and historic. Everything is within walking distance and you can't beat the view of mountains in the background. Their restaurant was closed as they are getting ready to renovate the entire property. Nice little bar with anything you want really. The front and back porches are so nice to sit and enjoy a cool evening. We will for sure be back after the renovations! â
âI loved that there were no checkin staff and it was just a come and go as you please type place. It was perfect for my vacation, 10/10 will be back!â
âIt was only an overnight stay, and the room was a bit spartan. However, it was quite clean and everything worked well. One a very minor problem, as noted by others, is that the toilet required a long flush or multiple flushes. My problem is that I forgot to ask for additional towels. I checked in at night and by the time I noticed that I need extra towels, I didn't think anyone would be around who could fulfill that request.â
âI canât say enough great things about this place. The attention to detail is noticed. I donât normally write reviews but I feel like this place deserves that. Check in super easy, my room was ready early, everything seems new and clean and itâs a beautiful property. â
