Det var 3 bra veckor på hotell Columbus. Läget jättebra! Bra service i receptionen och jättetrevlig personal i restaurangen vid poolområdet. Vi är jättenöjda min sambo och jag! Kan rekommendera hotellet! 🙂🙂

Bra läge, lyhört men rent och fräscht.
Hotellet har ett bra läge, lagom nära allting. Hotellet är lyhört då folk sitter på utegården till sen kväll och det låter mycket. Hotellet är lite nergånget men städas ordentligt och noggrant. Det står at wifi endast finns i lobbyn men det är fel. Funkade utmärkt på rummet utan extra kostnad. Maten i restaurangen har en klar "Engelsk touch" Inte så varierad även om det var ett par temakvällar. Kvaliteten OK men inget extra. Begränsad sol på innergård och endast hälften av rummen får någon sol på balkongen. Gymmet är litet, kostar EUR 3,5 om dagen. Vänlig personal. Bra bussförbindelse till flygplatsen. Gångavstånd till allt. På det stora hela ganska nöjd.

Jag hade bokat en lgh som var anpassad för rullstol. Bodde en vecka i en lgh som ej var anpassad. Därefter fick vi på egen begäran uppgradera lgh till handikappanpassad lgh. Vi hade blivit felbokade .

The pool was cold and dinner was not good. We decided to not eat in the hotel even though dinner was included in our stay. The beds was not at all comfortable.

Good hotel close to Veronicas and the night life
Good hotel close too Veronicas and the night life in las Américas. Nice view and good looking rooms. Led light on the front of the hotel makes it esay to find during night. Only downsides was the some dead cockrouches in the room, and that the TV costs 1 EUR per hour to watch. The reception was friendly and spoke good english aswell. I'll give it a 3.5/5 in total, the cockrouches really drags it down quite a bit.

Vi har bott i detta hotell i 2 veckor. Vi är en familj med en 8månader och 9 år barn. Jag ska försöka skriva om den här hotellet med ärlighet för alla skull. Vi börjar med rummet vi fick, det var ganska bra. Sängen var skönt att lägga i, det skulle skönt att sova men man hör väldig mycket ute, dålig isolering kanske. Internet går inte på rummet man måste vara i receptionen annars det är gratis. Teven är som andra säger, man får betala 1 euro per timme man stoppa in 1euro så att teven funkar. Man ska betala 20euro för tevens fjärrkontroll som man får tillbaka när man checka ut. Finns en kanal som är svensk. När det gäller städningen är det bra, de kommer varje dag och städa men de använder ingen dammsugare utan använder mopp att ta bort damm på golvet, det tycker jag väldigt äckligt, min dotter som kryper på golvet var kläderna smutsiga efteråt. Våran dusch läckte vatten när man duschar vi fick lägga handdukar på golvet, vi hade meddelat reception men inget åtgärdades. Vissa handdukar luktar ättika. Hotellets pool är inget vidare, väldigt kallt då 85% är skuggan hela dagen men det stör inte oss då var vi ute hela tiden. Frukost var bra och personalen där var trevliga. Annars våran semester var riktigt bra vi var mycket ute.

Vi hade det hur bra som helst. Men vi är oxå en familj som gillar lite ös. Det är inte direkt tyst på nätterna. Sängarna är fördjävliga o de hade nog inte städat under sängen på ngn vecka. Annars mkt fin liten lägenhet och vi har haft det underbart! Åker gärna tillbax till Columbus!

Ok hotell med perfekt läge. Mycket bra service från receptionspersonalen. Fina men mycket kalla pooler (januari). Lyckades utan större besvär byta vid incheckningen från våning 1 till 5, utan kostnad. Livlig trafik i området men det störde inte när man bor högt upp. Absolut värt pengarna.

Högljutt på nätterna, sov med öronproppar, men så är det säkert på många ställen.Städningen var inte speciellt bra. Fina rum annars, och nära till allt. Helt okej

Good stay
In general this hotel was good value for money and is in a good location. Can be noisy day and night and the pool entertainment is really annoying but there are quieter areas you can relax away from the main pool area.

Staff at reception are fantastic and probably underpaid for the complaints they have to listen to. The hotel needs a major revamp. The room we arrived to was like a prison cell, actually a prison cell would have been cleaner. The headboard was brown metal, the desk was brown metal and the side tables, they actually looked like rusty furniture. The bed was as hard as the road and the room was disgusting. The floor, the dirt on the front of the brown fridge, the light switches were dirty, the pillow cases had blood stains on them. We complained about the room and wanted to change. It was an upgrade but no palace. Stains on sheets, floor dirty, crumbs all over the bench but it done rightly for the nights we were there. We travel often and we have never experienced so many people complaining at reception, it was unbelievable. We probably paid over the odds for this hotel as it was between Christmas and new year but unless you are getting a real bargain and are a deep sleeper as the noise of people passing the room, talking and shouting, don’t care about living in a dirty jail cell then knock it up!

La struttura non è nuovissima ma per un 3 stelle va più che bene. Ci sono molte camere e questo è un contro per la quantità di persone e per il rumore. Avendo fatto mezza pensione facevamo colazione e cena in hotel e devo dire che il buffet è molto vario e la cucina è molto buona. Il personale ed il servizio dell’hotel sono eccellenti. Frequentato da molti inglesi e tedeschi. Le camere non sono molto insonorizzate e quindi la sera si sente molto rumore e casino. Molto vicino alla spiaggia è comodo al centro. C’è molto parcheggio vicino. Hanno molto intrattenimenti per le famiglie. Tutto sommato non è stato male soggiornare lì.

Okay but not the best
Greeted nicely and check in all fine. Wasnt sure why we need to wear wristbands for self catering , got told by security to wear one even though he saw me every day i was there. Wasnt going to wear it all holiday. The room was in need of re vamp , the bed was rock solid., cleaners started too early being loud, the sensor on the bathroom light looked smashed in and kept turning itself on and off during the night. The hotel was just too noisy could hear everything outside the room.

4th stay. Never fails to be just what I expect. Only do self catering and sleep there so its ideal for me. Cheap and cheerful. Would go elsewhere for any kind of special holiday. But this does the trick for an extra week in the sun.

Good hotel, convenient, airport bus stops at door, don’t bother with a taxi. Bar area not great, glad we didn’t go all inclusive. Nice pools and plenty loungers. Right beside football stadium for any fans, games on Sunday lunchtimes. Good WiFi, good enough for streaming

Nice stay if a little noisy
Just enjoyed 6 nights in kn columbus room cleaned every day to a good standard, check in staff excellent, had a street facing room a bit noisy at night but i didnt mind got the room at a great rate ,if your a light sleeper it might not suite you, didn't eat there so cant comment on the food ,bottom line its not 5 star so dont expect it,if you want clean rooms in a good location with air con its fine .

Cheap and cheerful. Rooms were ok, AC and shower worked fine. During the day, the hotel was fine. The pool area is clean and big. No major rush for loungers. Music commences around 10am and finishes at 3pm. Noise can be heard at night, people returning early hours in the morning was a pain. It looked like security were introduced back end of the week, so would have been interesting to see if this would have improved. Would consider staying again if I were to return to Tenerife.

Rooms were dated, tired and internal doors and windows faulty/broken. Room door had issues opening/closing, we were locked out of our room and had to seek replacement keycards from reception. Bedrooms were very loud as they were situated next to a hallway. Bathroom had broken tiles and toilet seat. Bathroom window looked onto stairwell so if the window was open people could see into our shower.

La struttura è ubicata in una posizione ideale per raggiungere a piedi in pochi minuti le spiagge e le zone di maggiore attrazione di Las Americas. Molto curata all’interno, spazi esterni gradevoli, aree comuni piacevoli. La camera è spaziosa, luminosa, confortevole e pulita. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e ci ha anche offerto una cena presso l’hamburgeria. Siamo stati davvero bene e ci ritorneremo senza dubbio

Great value for money!
Came here in December.Very central for las Américas. Staff great, as i had requested a move on the 2nd day of which i got as wanted a pool view reception side as it gets the sun on the balcony. Gave the girls a box of chocs for this as really appreciated it. All 5 uk channels on the tv too if youre staying in any night. Went self catering for 7 days then all inc for an additional 4. Kept my same room but you can ask for a room with a kitchen even if youre all inc. Stayed here before in a room with no kitchen as i was all inc...so didnt realise you could request this on your initial booking. No sun on the pool in the winter but plenty of sun lounger spots should you be a sun worshipper like me. Very clean and modern rooms. Defo come back again.
