“I was traveling to the area for a wedding at a local resort and spent two great nights at the Colonel Spencer Inn. Hosts Tracy and Jim are kind and respectful and offered to assist with my luggage. I slept very well in the comfortable bed. Even though the weather was less than ideal, it is in a beautiful setting and I want to stay there again. I had two delicious and filling breakfasts and I appreciated the snacks, coffee and tea bar, and beverage fridge filled with water bottles.”

“Nice to have coffee and muffins an hour before the excellent breakfast choices. We sat by an outdoor fire one night and played board games the other night. A true retreat from the daily grind.
Our two adult children and the two of us slept comfortably in one room that had mutliple beds. Nice to have the option to walk to town as well.

“Charlotte was welcoming on arrival. The house was lovely and well maintained. Breakfasts were delicious and varied, from garden to table and/or locally sourced, as well as with warm and engaging conversations from fellow guests. We look forward to visiting again when next back in the area. Thank you. Travel well.”
