“For a room in this price range my expectations were low but I was pleasantly surprised. The place was clean and orderly. For the price I felt it was a n excellent value. ”

“There is nothing good to say about this property. There were prostitutes in the parking lot; loud noises throughout hall; there were cobwebs in the corners of the room; the sheets were stained and the mattress was horrible; and there were police showing up at 5 am with sirens & lights shining in my room. They were there for the room above me. Absolutely no rest all night.”

“There were dead flys in my bed and the towels weren’t even clean. Had to ask for a second set.and there was just a frame propped up against my door”

“Stayed here previously without issues. This time was different. First room had an awful smell. Staff did change our room. Second room also had a very odd smell (like maple syrup) but was not disgusting like the first. When showering, we noticed mold on ceiling (took pics). Breakfast next morning was luke-warm to cold. I even asked to refill the sausage gravy because it was empty, but it was cold. Left message for manager to call me. No call received after 4 days. I called again and left a...

“The quality inn & suites in Lufkin Texas is poorly managed and not properly cleaned up to the standards of a good hotel. I stayed recently on may 18th 2026 and found ticks in the room by the shower and when brought up they tried to just kill it and not do anything about it..watch where you book..sometimes cheaper isn’t better.”

“It was great overall, had a great time. The only thing that wasn't working was the ice maker in the fridge but we just got a bag of ice. One other thing was you should put at least some steak knifes. Overall, it was great! Thank you.”
