We cooked a small meal on the BBQ, looked up at the amazing night sky, made a fire in the wood stove because it got chilly out, used the electric blanket and watched the sunset. âIn a town without many hotel options the Blanco River Hotel is stellar. I could not believe the size of the room. The pool is very nice with nice evening lighting and a waterfall. The breakfast is also better than most and unusual to be included in a hotel this nice. So close to town square with many great choices for food. Also the Blanco river is a minute away and a great place to visit.â
