We booked for 4 days. Sunday, July 6th check-in, to Thursday, July 10th check-out. The AC was broken upon arrival. I notified Propertyvalet about the issue and suggested we could move to a new location as there was virtually no one at the complex and that I have a child with special needs. They manage most of the properties in the complex, so it was possible, but this is what happens when you have such late Check-ins and there is a problem. No one wants to help you at 7:00 at night. They said they would send someone the next day. I had to run out to Walmart and buy fans so we could sleep. Next day a friendly guy showed up who is not an AC tech.
Luckily, the weather had cooled down significantly overnight so we agreed that I would run the fan to see if the coil was frozen and that I would report back the next morning assuming that they would make arrangement to have a real technician come and repair the AC. I messaged the next day that there was no leaking and that the AC still did not work. They message back that they would like to send someone the next day. I asked if they were sending a tech or one of their people. They replied they would like to send one of their staff to diagnose the problem. I explained that they had already sent someone the day before and that I had to buy fans and keep all the blinds closed just so we could be cool enough to sleep and that if it wasnât repaired and the weather got too hot we would leave and need to be compensated.
