“Everyone at Charleston Place was fantastic warm and accommodating. Roosevelt helped made sure our luggage was safe and secure, the front desk people that we got the right room, the housekeeper lady that we had everything, the restaurant servers as well wonderful and so were all the valet guys. “One of the oldest hotels in Charleston in need of some refreshments. We booked a suite and it was quite allright but but no minibar, stains on every furniture (which is fine, you can’t replace them every time) but also a big stain on the duvet cover on the bed. Got to be something that can be cleaned or replaced. But ours was there for all four nights. The restuarant is great! Especially for dinner. Breakfast is not worth having, go somewhere else on the street. ”

“Valet service seemed mainly focusing on their own importance… Reception personnel was great, nice an helpful Red Stag service was not up to the standard that you expect at this type of hotel The room was ok but nothing to “write home about”. All and all not really worth the time and money.”

“The rooms are great and the pool area is wonderful. WiFi is extremely unreliable, dining options aren’t included or easily accessible unless you go into the city. They do offer a great shuttle in and out of the city which saves on Uber or water taxi expenses but it fills up quickly so plan accordingly. ”
