“Good stay during Covid”

“We stayed for a week earlier this month and truly enjoyed the experience From Christina to the front desk to the folk who attended to our room, we couldn't ask for better The newly renovated rooms was so nicely done that I even remarked that I that want that in our new home. Loved the comfort of the desk chair** Linens were high end .Met the owner during our stay-- so nice to be family owned instead of a chain,”

“THIS PLACE IS A DUMP! if we hadn't gotten in so late from our flight with small kids and werent as exhausted as we were, after getting into our room I would have turned around and demanded my money back. We wouldnt even use the bathroom unless absolutely necessary and left as soon as we could in the morning. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned and also was full of mold. The bedspread was covered in stains We only saw in the morning with natural light since the room lighting was so bad. The fridge...

“Best part was that it was well situated and nicely priced for my purposes and the bed itself was OK. Not great were that hallways needed vacuuming (lots of trash), bathroom had damaged walls and the shower head leaked all night despite tightening, and the drawer with coffee/tea was dirty. Free breakfast was minimal. Overall, not recommended.”

“We were unable to get towel on our second day at the hotel. We were given bath floor mats instead. On the morning we checked out, we left a pair of very expensive work boots in our room in error. We called the hotel at 9:30 am and said we would be back for them around 4pm. When we got back to the hotel we were told they were not in the room. No call no explanation. The front desk would not let us look in the room OR even call the room to ask if they could look around.”

“Charming B&B in a scenic corner of Connecticut. If you have a car there are several scenic areas within easy reach. The building has historicla atmosphere; as a consequence the itnerior decorating tends toward heavy oak and canopied beds. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment; the serve-yourself banana bread and add-water oatmeal bags left in a corner did not match the ambience of the place.”

“They advertise pets stay free but I was charged for both my dogs I’ve stayed in other hotels that are pet friendly and are super clean this property was not even one of the beds smelled like pee couldn’t sleep people where playing loud music at all times it was a very unpleasant stay”
