“Trevligt hotell, trevlig personal, mycket centralt. Fräscha rum och badrum. Det enda hotellet - av 4 - på vår resa från Atlanta som inte erbjöd uppgradering av rummet (trots löfte om att återkomma…), därav lägre serviceomdöme. Annorlunda frukostutbud - inte det typiskt amerikanska, men intressant!”

It takes quite a bit for me to actually leave a review, so congratulations,you’ve achieved something special. First, if you’re hoping to call the front desk, prepare for a scavenger hunt. The calls appear to be outsourced somewhere in a parallel universe because whoever answers has absolutely no idea how to help with anything at the property....

“Our stay at The Restoration was one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. The combination of outstanding service, thoughtful amenities, & genuinely warm staff made this an unforgettable stay. From arrival, the hospitality was exceptional. The hotel held our bags before check-in so we could explore Charleston, & when we returned, our luggage had already been delivered to our room. Small details like this made everything effortless. “Had a great stay. Excellent location in the Historic district. My friend and I got a clean, spacious big corner room with lots of light and the Inn was homey and nicely decorated. They serve a comtinental breakfast in the room, which helped us get a good start before exploring Charleston. Every afternoon they also offered cheese and wine in their sister property in the building next door. Highly recommended!”

“The staff went out of our way to make us feel welcome. We received a welcome basket with local treats when we arrived and breakfast delivered to the room every morning. There was a happy hour with wine, beer and charcuterie each evening. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was modern and a good size. We have already recommended it to several people and will definitely stay again if we’re in the area.”

“Booked a room for 2 adults and one 14 year old child. On arrival we were checked in to a room with only one queen bed, no extra bed or anything. When I said that was not what we had booked I was told I would have to upgrade to get a room with 2 beds. I said that was not acceptable and demanded a room for 3 people. The person at the front desk said ok and gave me new keycards. Only later did I discover that they had charged the upgrade to my card anyway. ”
