“Stunning view, lovely clean room, high spec bathroom which was spotless. All staff extremely friendly and helpful, food very tasty in the restaurant. Really nice cosy vibes throughout the hotel. Only slight disappointment was the bed being very hard and quite uncomfortable, it was however a good size. Will definitely return. ”

“We received a warm welcome from Cam. Our room was clean and our bed incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was pure delicious perfection. My wife had pulled a muscle in her back and stayed working in the lounge area. Cam made sure that my wife had a hot water bottle, to keep the injured muscle comforted, and pots of tea to keep her going. It is obvious that Cam goes the extra mile for all her guests. “Well maintained basic room in Aberporth a few minutes walk from the park and beaches. Clean, nicely decorated row of rooms on top of a coffee shop, easy free parking in back. Kettle and small kitchen part but not fully equipped for cooking. Several restaurants around but kitchens seem to close at 8 pm, small convenience store just down the street. As in many hotels in the UK, floor was carpeted. Would have been nice with a fan as it was quite warm.”

“Properly was nice and central to the town. Activities in walking and driving distance. Only downside is they dont want dogs upstairs but do not provide a gate on the stairs. Having to make a makeshift block not easy.”

“Kitchen was stocked with bread, butter, milk and jam, which was lovely but there was NO tea or coffee. However, given how dirty some of the mugs were, that probably wasn't a bad thing. There were also dirty trays left in the oven and drawer. Rest of cottage was clean thankfully. However, frustrating as limited power points, and no shaver socket in bathroom for toothbrush. Bedroom door handle/latch was very stiff and hard to open. Shower temperature dial was also VERY stiff. It was stuck on...

“Our stay at Y Cartws was lovely and relaxing, very cosy cottage. Was amazing to walk the ground and interact with the goats and horses. The nearby river was very relaxing to listen to, especially in the hot tub at night. Hot tub is at a set temperature which cannot be adjusted. Amenities were great, kitchen is well stocked with utensils and had delicious home made brownies waiting for us. Property was mostly clean but there was some negatives, bathroom was either mouldy or mould stained....
