“We stayed 3 nights and McKenzie made us feel right at home. She gave advice on restaurants and other need-to-know items when we checked in. Coffee and breakfasts were greatly appreciated and always right at the time promised. All furniture in the common room and outside was very comfortable as was the bed in our room. Thisnis a lovely property.
Highly recommend Dakota Dream for anyone traveling to the Custer area!”

“Excellent appliances and set up! Comfortable bed and relaxing living room. Perfect for exploring Black Hills area and returning to this space for an evening of relaxation or rest before enjoying Rapid City. Location is handy with easy access to interstate. Road noise (as some other reviews have mentioned) at times is present, but was not bothersome. Highly recommend for a couple’s getaway that wants to blend Rapid City activities with Black Hills area. “Exceeded our expectations! Great price with a very well designed and supplied interior. Despite its proximity to the highway, you won’t hear a thing inside the unit. It’s well insulated and comfortable.”
