“Tye staff are friendly and cooperative ”

“Philo Hotel is a small family-owned budget hotel situated on the third floor in a depilated but beautiful architecture apartment block in central downtown Cairo, close to Tahrir square. The staff is super friendly and helpful. My room was clean and spacious, equipped with a hard but still comfortable double bed, tv (Arabic channels only), private shower, balcony, and two large windows facing the street. But since the hotel is situated in an old apartment and the furniture may have seen its best...

“Verkligen prisvärt. Rent och fräscht och för en gångs skull en dusch med bra tryck i i Egypten. Väldigt trevlig personal. Som alla hotell i Egypten så är det väldigt lyhörd speciellt från gatan då deras fönster inte är ljudisolerade. Ta med öronproppar. ”

“I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Its location is excellent, for me, it is clean with nice furniture. “Staff kind and polite. Picture from terass in Hotels.com so bad. Wasnt even any terass set on. Only much birds in small cage and Dirty. We have familyroom for 5. Was ok and comfort bed. Elevator terrible.. roof in almost fall down. But for the money downtown in Kairo its ok. Can think for be back sure. But please fix terass so guest can stay little there. Best regards from Sweden family.”

“Fantasktigt läge precis vid Nilen, grym utsikt ifrån 26 våningen. Bra gym och pool”

“Staff were excellent and made our stay special. Pool staff went over and beyond. Not many amenities around but easy to get an uber around. Food was great too! No complaints about this stay!”
