“Hotel is somewhat outdated but they keep it clean. There is a need to perform some updates to support in possible liability issues and mold. Other items can be handled very easily (e.g. screwing in bathroom light bulb that is missing or burnt out. Cover to fan in bathroom. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. They were always busy with cleaning or filling items up. While I was in the entryway for a few hours, staff updated reading nook with a nice rug and installed water resevoirs in...

“The elevator is broke and has been since last October. Had to drag my cooler from the beach amoung other thimgs, up 2 flights of stairs. The TV had two remotes and initially was a challenge to operate. The person who checked us in didn't mention the broken elevator and didn't give any times for the breakfast. Just handed me the key card, stated the room number...and that was it.”

“There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. ”

“We intended to stay one night, but after a few minutes we decided to extend our stay. All rooms are individually decorated, and it is like staying in a “dollhouse” in the most positive sense. Ginger took well care of us. All guest has an excellent breakfast together at 09:00, which give you the opportunity to meet new people. “Be careful in the hot tub. The breaker popped and heard zapping noises like if the wires were getting to hot and then we saw smoke. Luckily nothing else happened. I tried calling the office but no one answered the phone. Went to the office and the office was closed. Ended up getting a discouafter talking with someone in the office the next day.”
