The satisfaction of our guests is of utmost importance to us, and we are glad that you have taken the time to inform us about your stay. This enables us to keep an even closer check on the operation of our hotel. Boutique Hotel Corona is the oldest 4 star hotel in The Hague, situated in three 17th century buildings. As you may have been told, we are currently working on a major renovation and expansion of the hotel. We are working together with a recommended interior designer to make our rooms brighter and more comfortable. You have stayed in one of our renovated rooms. It is unfortunate to read your comments about the room. We would like to create a peaceful atmosphere, so that the room is suitable for every type of guest. Unfortunately, it is a very personal taste. We will take your comments with us in the coming renovation plans, since we take every comment about the renovated rooms very seriously. Luckily there was an ‘old’ room available for you on the second and third night, which you liked the most. Thank you for your compliments about our fresh breakfast buffet. For our breakfast buffet we offer only freshly made products, such as our home made jams. It is a pleasure to read that you enjoyed all of this! Since a few weeks we have switched to a new reservation system. In this system some credit cards can be charged automatically when a reservation is non-refundable. Daarbij raden wij u aan om voor een volgend verblijf een één van onze andere kamertypes te reserveren. We do have two other elevators available in our hotel, both of which function well, but due to the charm of our seventeenth-century buildings, this may require a small detour for some rooms, making using the stairs easier and more efficient. We are sharing our backyard with surrounding restaurants and have agreements with them to not do this late at night or early in the morning. Unfortunately, this agreements are not always kept. And we understand that because of this you could not have a good night rest.We will make sure to discuss this agreements again with this restaurants and hope this will not happen again in the future.We regret that in your experience the room felt cramped.
