âThe hotel has been recently refurbished and so it is well presented. The staff work hard to maintain a high standard but they could do with more support during the busy periods. ie bank holidays etc.â

There was some work being done in the corridor but that did not impact our stay. We were meeting family and exploring the area and found it was close to the major roads. âThe photo in the review is not the apartment we stopped in. The apartment we stopped in is definitely getting a little tired with a few repairs required however it has everything you want and nothing you donât need. Would recommend for those transiting through Mansfield. The area (given I grew up there) is one of the better areas of Mansfield and the property is gated so nice and secure.â

The house is beautifully restored and the room was superb good views over the countryside,, Jen was a superb host and made us feel welcome in her home. Excellent breakfast and the canal path only 5 minutes walk through the garden. Good location for visiting all of the Peak District. Would highly recommend and canât wait to return â

The rooms are lovely, and always kept spotless throughout your stay. The breakfasts are incredible. They aim to please everyones preferences. Everything is delicious whatever they serve up. I highly reccomend this B and B. â
