Daughter slept on sofa due to strong smell in twin room
Handles missing on some windows so couldnât be opened .
Marks and stains on twin bedroom wall, little table and sofa .
No hot water connected to bathroom basin.
Bathroom needs deep clean
Bathroom door lock doesnât work
Had to buy towels as chalet ones smelt after 1 use
Twin bedroom door sticks daughter couldnât get out

âEnjoyed a couple of nights at The Hoops for a weekend family get together. Excellent gastropub menu with huge portions for dinner and breakfast, comfortable superior room and super service, inside and outside in secluded beer garden. On a main road so front facing rooms a little noisy but not really a big issue in the overall scheme of things. Recommended.â
âLandlady went beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Incredible food and sent us off in the morning with complimentary food water for our trek. Extremely friendly/welcoming atmosphere!

âOur flat had a TV in both bedroom and livingrooom. Smart design. There was possibility to fish in the small river just by the hotel. Beautiful swimming pool.

âStephen was a wonderful host showing us our room on arrival and explaining arrangements there.
Room 3 was extremely well appointed with our own entrance and outdoor space. The small kitchen area included a microwave great for a cosy meal in. The continental breakfast was amazing and really set you up for the day.
Set in quiet countryside outside Bideford with easy access to local attractions and exploring the countryside.
A really relaxing break for us and would definitely recommend staying...

âBarton Instow Guest house is a jewel in the crown. A lovely old converted farmhouse nestled in the Instow countryside but only a short walk to the beautiful beach front.
