“I really like this property and the staff is always wonderful. My only complaint is that they have discontinued their afternoon cookies, free parking, and self-pour half and half at breakfast. Those small touches have always made it a little more special. This my fifth stay and I was sad to see the changes. I always choose Hilton as a Hilton honors member, and it is discouraging when amenities are downgraded.”

“We first stayed for four days in a "Studio". The "Studio" (one large room) worked really well as an "office". However, the internet connection was not up to standard. Skype meetings lagged much and this is unacceptable in a University city as Chapel Hill. In the apartment I am currently staying in Carrboro Skype works much better so Hampton Inn must be able to do better. “What makes this hotel so special is the staff. From the moment you enter the door Jerry greets you and treats you as though you have entered a five star resort. I did encounter some problems with noise and he took care of the it immediately and professionally. I also ordered room service and it was delivered quickly and the food was very good. The staff here is amazing. But again, I must say Jerry is one of the best I’ve ever meet in this business!”
