“A perfect stay! Amazing comfy, cosy and massive bed which gave a perfect night sleep ahead of us climbing Scafell Pike which was really easy to get to. Super clean, loved the modern touches but also the traditional parts which remained from the barn. Breakfast was amazing and loved that it catered to vegetarian and non-dairy options without having to ask for this. We loved watching the alpacas from our bedroom. “Washington Central is by far the best hotel to stay in Workington. Point. However, this has to do more with the fact that the city itself does not provide really comfy and luxurious accommodation, than Washington Central being awesome. A frequent business traveler, I can definitely say that the hotel's pricing is a bit too high for its service scopes. But hey, if the other hotels in town are worthless, then they can enjoy their monopoly status, right?
